Not good as I use lots of spices heavily. Might have to start growing my own.

This will pale in comparison to the toxins in fake meat and the other crap the WEP wants to force us to eat.

Oregano and thyme — all bad

Ginger, only one good, Simply Organic. In fact they seem to rank best. Oregano was the only bad one in that brand(and every other brand tested). Great Value — 50/50 shot

What if the big companies had been putting it in your spices all along and you didn’t even know?

Oh dear God. What garbage clickbait.

NO ONE is adding heavy metals to spices, certainly not on purpose. May there be residues from soil? Heavy metals are part of nature also. OK - what form are they? Are they non-toxic organic forms? What's the total content? What limits have regulatory authorities like FDA have?

This is typical of the problems of social media, and low-IQ mainstream media in general. It doesn't promote reasoned debate, learning or understanding - it only promotes fear and clicks.

Follow the links to the source - in this case, its an ambulance-chasing LAW FIRM trying to promote their class-action suit.

C'mon people!!!!!

Arsenic is in apricot seeds and in Almonds. Apricot seeds were once used to treat cancer. Arsenic is also blood pressure drug isn’t it?

I have been growing and drying as much of my own as possible the last few years.

Some common spices can be perennials even herein the north. Some of those are oregano, thyme, and sage. Others can be more cold sensitive and yet produce a great crop in one summer, like rosemary and basil.

I tried marjoram but it didn’t grow very well. There are others I need to investigate.

Garlic is a ridiculously easy crop to grow. Almost nothing bothers it or kills it.

Don't buy stuff from China.

Now, why don't you set your hair on fire and run around in circles screaming?

I am bored today.

A lot of spices apparently come from China. McCormick has *three* plants there. It’s difficult to find sourcing information on spices.

Most grocery store garlic comes from China. Best to avoid.

In general, not enough companies provide source countries for their products.

NOTE: If you use an ‘Italian Blend’ spice mix, that would have thyme and oregano in it.

Shop here: http://www.spicehouse.com if you can’t grow your own.

As always, AVOID Penzey’s. The owner is a nutcase, rabid Socialist.

Unreal, to see anyone, here, defending any of the tests/reports, that found these dangerous levels, in spices.

This must be them!

Maybe those elements are what makes spices spicy.

Everything in Kalifornia must have a toxic ingredient warning, even hammers. I suspect someone did a spectroscopic analysis of spices and found those elements. They have been there all along and in harmless quantities.
Plants pick up what is in the soil.
