In the runup to Wisconsin's pivotal state Supreme Court election, Johnston helped orchestrate a mass-dating event to court young voters. Using Hinge — the only dating app that allows users to change their locations for free — Johnston and around 20 other volunteer daters swiped their way right across the Badger State.
Johnston lives in the Bay Area, but expertly curated her profile to entice Wisconsin matches. In one photo, she dons a Cheesehead hat in a Beyonce-inspired pose. In another, she grins in a Green Bay Packers fleece. There was even a Packers pick-up line: "What if I told you that Aaron Rodgers might leave you, but I never would?"

She is catfishing for democrat voters.
In the coming years, the court is expected to rule on Wisconsin’s abortion ban, as well as voting laws and election maps in the battleground state.
If the NC legislature wins its case before SCOTUS the Wisconsin Supreme Court won’t be deciding anything with regards to voting laws and election maps. And I’m thinking the, almost veto proof, Republican majority will only gain more seats and Wisconsin won’t be so ‘battle ground’ much longer.
Election maps are irrelevant when elections are rigged.
Let’s hope so.
It is so aggravating how large urban areas are the cancer “hot spots” in every state, most of which is conservative, even in states like New York and California. The cancer metastasized, and CHEATS in elections.

Absentee and mail in / drop box ballots must be counted first! Before the in-person votes are tallied.
Every important election is like a World Series baseball game that has one team ahead by 20 runs in the top of the 9th inning. Then the umpire orders the fans go home, cameras shut off, play extended by as many innings as it takes, and the next day the team with the lead has lost. Really. I see no difference.
Very true, but going back to the NC case. If NC wins, then the courts can do NOTHING about election laws or changes made to them.
Most importantly, people like Elias can’t come in and challenge anything, find a sympathetic judge and get his way. Hell, if I’m reading the case the right way, the Secretaries of State can’t do anything either, other than implement the elections as the legislature sees fit. No last minute changes so they can rig the elections.
Yup.
Damn near every state in the country is destroyed by just a few locations. Sadly, the Republican legislatures are either complicit or too afraid to do anything to level the playing field.
NY is a perfect example, actually. Nassau and Suffolk Counties are majority Republican for the first time in, however long. Nassau had a Democrat County Chairwoman. By all accounts she was very well liked and did as good a job as she could, given the state government. But, she was sent packing because folks on LI have had enough with MS13 and all the other crap.
But, my sympathy only goes so far when they complain of the insane taxes. You want your teachers and cops knocking down $150-200k a year, retiring after 20yrs with full bennies, you voted for it.

I hope SCOTUS sees it your way.
I hope SCOTUS sees it for the NC Legislature.
I mean, the language looks pretty simple and direct to me: The Elections Clause directs “the legislature” to regulate congressional elections, which includes drawing district maps.
I think that was the problem in NC. They had a liberal court that struck down everything the legislature was doing.
This, if I’m reading it right, pretty much eliminates interference from the court and people like Elias being able to manipulate things.
If they do win, then we’ll see what state legislatures are actually what they say they are.
I have suggested to the Texas Governor’s office, as well as my State Representative and State Senators...we should implement an electoral college system within the State of Texas!!
Otherwise, it is only a matter of time before the large cities of Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and El Paso (and other growing/shifting cities like Ft. Worth, McKinney, Frisco, etc...) will override the conservative rural voters and the United States will be TOAST for the Presidency and Texas will be TOAST for internal State-wide offices!
Mob rule is going to KILL my great State!!
The one hope is if the majority of refugees from shithole states are conservative.
The left wins when the GOP accepts their crap.
