The problem was the mayor (London Breed) got to appoint the next DA - so this is the result.

I was impressed, however, when the voters kicked out three "woke" school board members and recalled Bodin.

During Bodin's reign, "quality of life crimes" that he wouldn't prosecute included smashing out car windows - there was a HUGE rash of smashed car windows all over the city. A number of cars in my daughter's neighborhood had their windows smashed out - repeatedly - there was glass constantly all over the street and sidewalk. One of her friends, a med student, came out and every window in her car was smashed out - nothing taken, there was nothing in the car. The criminals were smashing out the windows just to do it - often nothing was taken.

My daughter lives in the same neighborhood that London Breed lives in, BTW.

People put up signs in their cars saying "there's nothing in this car!" - still, their windows were smashed out.

No arrests were ever made, I doubt the cops even looked for them.

Ditto for shoplifters that have driven out 17 Walgreens.

Victim should DEMAND a jury trial AND sue the D.A’s office & the City of San Francisco for AT LEAST $5 million + legal fees.

The Judicial system of selecting totally unqualified activist idiots as jurors being manipulated by lawyers on both sides needs reform.

Did you mean jurors? What is an unqualified juror? I get that jury selection means trying to choose jurors strategically, but both the prosecution and the defense to affirm or deny a number of potential jurors during voir dire.
