Hello to all WMAL Fans! I hope you're all doing well. As many of you know, The Planteman has a new show on NEWSMAX weeknights at 8:00 PM. If any of you have watched it, please comment and/or critique below. The show was working out some 'kinks' the other day - audio and cadence - but we'd like to see what you like or don't like.
I heard from Chris last night, who said that the show "is a work in progress, and progress was made today."
All the best to everyone -- and I will definitely inform the group when/if we hear about the next WMAL Free Speech Forum, which hopefully will be scheduled in September or October.
In the meantime -- how about that Trump CNN Town Hall, eh? Glorious! Have a great summer! -Silvie
I always had a hard time listening to Chris. I agreed with virtually every point he made but he is so course in how he says it.

Joma - There are things that he says on the radio that he may not be able say or get away with on network or cable television. I think that radio has given him a freedom to express himself in the strongest of ways and he’s masterful at building up the story and throwing down the hammer at the end and showing receipts. But, I’m glad you agreed with every point that he’s made. Thanks & Take care!

I enjoy listening to Chris Plant on AM, especially when he injects his brand of deadpan humor to emphasize the absurdity of marxist socialist democRAT actions. I’ll be checking out his show on Newsmax.
I listen to Chris Plante every day on the WMAL app. He is funny, smart, and does his homework. This show format needs work. He is not as funny as on radio, although I do like his token black liberal. Not the guy, who just regurgitates talking points, I just like the token. The show is getting better daily.
It stinks - the Loud mouth rude idiot Democrat ruins the show - turned it off after 10 minutes yesterday - sorry to say will not watch again.

I used to listen to Plante daily, until he said something (and, damned if I can remember what it was) totally athwart the persona he presents to his audience. But, my reaction was visceral and I haven’t listened to him since! I like sunlight, not shade and there are too many others to listen to, other than Plante!
Tough audience! I never miss Chris Plante’s radio show. I love it when he puts together a string of dry jokes, “Biden, his brain, she’s a broke, she’s a no good.” “If there wasn’t for double standards, the Dems would have no standards at all.”
Chris’s labels are funny, Lunch Bucket Joe, Nation Panhandler Radio, Cringe (Spokes-Idiot), or the Democrat Party isn’t.
The Newsmax show is OK, it’s a work in progress, but the Black guy on there is annoying. I remember going out to my car at lunch to listen to Chris Plante in the summer of 2015. The stuff he said about Obama was cutting edge, I was getting nervous that Chris might need a security detail to protect him from the crazy left. He was on board with Trump from the beginning. He had to switch beers recently because, Bud Light.

Congrats to Chris!
We have been Chris fans since before WMAL fired him (back in the old days). We listen every day and love his radio show.He has the talent to carry the show by himself (like Rush). Get rid of the typical tv show format and turn him loose (like Gutfeld) to mix politics, satire, humor and he will succeed yuuugely. Keep him in this box format with the token lib and only serious people and the show will fail (but Chris won’t).
They need to hire new makeup and lighting techs. I watched the first show and they all looked like some kind of computer-generated avatars. Gaetz was the worst. He looked like a character out of Grand Theft Auto.
Yep, the "set" needs to look professional, not like a bunker.
Have seen parts of the 1st 4 episodes of his new show & will continue to check it out. Listen to him daily on-line at WMAL 105.9 FM out of DC. Chris said that his TV show is a work in progress...tonight Kari Lake will be a guest...
