Sounds like another 'noose' incident...........................IOW, FAKE........... In-car radios are broadcast in the clear so race fans can monitor using standard scanners. There's even NASCAR scanners with pre-programmed frequencies in them.
Someone had a HAM radio that allowed them to transmit on a business frequency and made this call.
It wasn't exactly fake because all of the in-car radio is monitored by fans and available from NASCAR streaming service. It happened.
