He was convicted of killing Stephany Flores (and trafficking cocaine while in prison in Peru) but, "Peruvian and US authorities confirmed van der Sloot would be extradited from Peru to the US to face criminal charges earlier this month."

Van der Sloot needs a similar cellmate in the US; this pig not only killed the poor attractive young woman, he demanded money from her mom to tell them where he buried her body. An absolute worthless piece of humanity.

And exactly what is the jurisdiction of the United States over a crime on Peruvian soil? NONE. Forget the crime, this is a very dangerous and fascistic move of the sole hyper power. The judicial over reach is one and the same as the sham trials of the Jan. 6 patriots.
Mark my words, American dictatorship is enforced using laws. Celebrating this extradition is playing right into its hands. Peru should be handling the trial. They have jails. America, butt out.

No, he’s going to be tried in the US for a scam he ran on the parents (gimme money and I’ll tell where the body is - scumbag) AND THEN HE WILL BE RETURNED TO PERU TO CONTINUE HIS SENTENCE THERE.
It was all explained in an earlier article (didn’t bother reading this one though).
