I just discovered this little gem whilst browsing YouTube. I’m not from New York and I was just five years old, so my memory of this particular date is rather spotty. I thought that some NY based Freepers or 70’s fans might enjoy this.

Bookmarked for later. I love this aircheck stuff, especially from the 1970s as that was my growing up period. Even the commercials are like a time capsule from more innocent times.

These airchecks have allowed me to discover so many of the great songs from the late 60s, and not just the “classic” rock songs from that era, I’d been listening to pretty much since my later teenage years.
I marvel at just how well crafted the songs were. Many of course featured The Wrecking Crew.
