Lego has gone the woke route

No it hasn’t. People are looking too hard
They are blocks that are in multiple colors
When our boys grew up and moved out, we didn’t do as many parents do and sell, donate, or toss out the Legos. Instead, we put them in the attic. The look on our grandsons’ faces when we let them discover that treasure-trove was a sight to behold. All those Legos, from their dad and uncle’s Christmas and birthdays of the past, were packed in Rubbermaid containers and just waiting on the next generation to find and enjoy. Our boys even kept the building direction booklets so they were stored in the containers as well.
If Lego plans to go the ‘woke’ route, so be it. Our grandchildren have sufficient Legos to build whatever they wish. I suspect if I dug deeper in the attic, I might even find one or two more containers of Legos long forgotten.
LEGO has not been a very savvy company when its come to doing social credit woke things. They are Dutch so you have to factor that in. Albeit a little slow on the uptake sometimes. They don’t understand a lot of things about their customers.

When I got a bit older, I enjoyed building houses on the 027 railroad tracks and smashing my big, heavy Lionel locomotive, tender car and train into the houses. Bricks went EVERYWHERE! I was prescient for 2023 with train wrecks everywhere.

They’ve tried to push a couple of Sodomite/racial sets (because what kid wasn’t clamoring for a Queer Eye for the Straight Guy apartment set ?!?), but they’ve ended up on the massive reduction sales heap.
