Disney's 'Gay Days' events have gone ahead as planned, in defiance of Florida governor and presidential nominee Ron DeSantis' battle with the company over the state's so-called 'Don't Say Gay' laws.
Thousands celebrated Pride events at World Disney World's Magic Kingdom in Orlando over the weekend, despite the company's legal war with the conservative governor over his stance regarding LGBTQ issues.
The celebration, which started on Saturday and goes on for five days, is 'comprised of multiple events staged at world famous attractions, gay & lesbian nightclubs, and unique venues secured for the purpose of creating an inclusive LGBTQ atmosphere,' according to the event's website.
In spite of a travel advisory by civil rights groups, crowds wearing red shirts with the words 'Say Gay' or 'Don’t say DeSantis,' were seen celebrating Pride month in front of the iconic Cinderella Castle.
Tourists enjoyed several events like pool parties and drag bingo at nearby resorts and the park, which welcomes but does not sponsor the yearly celebration.

Worked at WDW in 91, the first “gay days”, they all wore red shirts.
Gay Days at Disney have been going on for years, probably at least 10 or more and it’s never been much of a big deal, until now.
They sold their gay items and maybe bud light. How much actually (regular) Disney stuff was sold?
On that note people are speculating what Targay will do with their gay items, like the tuck swimsuits. Some are saying that maybe some gay group will buy up the unsold inventory and pass it out free to gay/trans kids.
The important question, Germania, is how many kiddies available to be diddled were among those in the “bumper” crowd?
After all, thats what this ‘movement’ is really about.
My sneaking suspicion is most parents kept their’s home.

Disney is going to wind up “Bud Lighting” themselves, in that normal people aren’t going to want to risk getting ridiculed for going there.
In other words, don’t take your kids to Disneyland.
50% of the U.S. population is 165 million. And it's popular with foreigners. So they don't need MAGA Americans to go to Disney World. It's already crowded as it is right now.
When we were kids back in the early 1980s we heard of “gay days” at places like King’s Island and Disney. We were told the parks never knew when one was going to happen. It was a day a bunch of them showed up with “gay day” shirts on and were everywhere. Was told the parks didn’t like it but could do nothing about them.
I was told one year at King’s Island a bunch of bikers happened to be there while one gay day was going on and were slamming the gays up against the wall and calling them “queers” and “fags”. I have no way to validate this story was just something another kid told me.

Look at the pics if you can stomach it. They are all adults!!! Disney is a place for children but these are all adults. All grown men in that pool!
Since gayness is actually a form of arrested development (aka “Never-Never Land”), Disney and Broadway show tunes are tailormade for that market.
