I believe a combination of men, demons, and Nephilim working on behalf of the Powers and Principalities from Ephesians 6:12 are behind the entire UFO phenomenon.

When I was a 10 year-old boy, I was fascinated with the paranormal. After all, it was the '70s. UFOs, ESP, biorhythms, etc. were wisely popular, with dedicated magazines, cover stories in general interest publications, and best-selling books like those written by Erik von Daniken were part of the environment. I also investigated astrology, numerology, pyramid power, all those tests in the tabloids to determine your personality traits, etc.

Looking back, I am ashamed that I was caught up in these things, especially the ones that were violations of the 1st Commandment. At least though, I got it out of my system. None of it withstood intelligent scrutiny.

In those days, the UFO magazines had numerous blurry photos. Like with Bigfoot, ubiquitous high-quality cameras have not resulted in an avalanche of high-quality definitive photos, but more of the same blurry snapshots.

These kinds of stories are useful for changing the news narrative. I won't rule out preternatural forces for some of it, but I will credit human stupidity and bad will first whenever I can.

You might not be aware of it, but during the past two decades the U.S. and other militaries have captured the highest-quality optical and infrared imagery (still and video) you could imagine, along with other sensing modalities using classified advanced sensors from ground, air, space, and underwater. The recordings of these sensor systems are by definition classified, and would not routinely be released even if the subjects were non-controversial.

I, too, believe in the basically preternatural origin of these sightings but technology has enabled capture of all kinds of data recently; the era of blurry snapshots is long past.

My knowledge of these things is both direct and indirect. Discussion on military-oriented forums over the years has been one of the best sources of indirect information, with an amazing number of comments stopping just short of revealing classified techniques and data, but collectively enabling a keen reader to fill in between the lines. Actually leaked footage (such as the 2004 USS Nimitz ‘Tic Tac’ video) confirm earlier rumors.
