Each swipe of a credit/debit card costs the merchant processing fees. Other than that, the language used was too mind-boggling to waste time on deciphering.

“But your first sentence was one I NEVER thought I’d see.”

LOL...I used have a tag line that went something like “I shop at Walmart and eat at McDonald’s, I just don’t tell anyone”.

Many of us do things we don’t admit to...so I have some fun with it!

Can somebody identify the language these people are speaking?

* “Like, you to any place, you say”
* “I hate the people that be tryna place 3 orders.”
* “I’m sorry :(( I have online orders and then sometimes I be forgetting something I didn’t add”
* “I only do that at McDonald’s cuz me and bae be using the app for points”
* “I be having to go get lunch for my coworkers and I always feel so bad.”

I feel the same way. They haven’t come back yet in my area; I haven’t been back since they left.

I’m 78 and am still awake and hungry at 6:00 AM and frequently go to Micky’s about 2 blocks from my house for 2 Egg McMuffins minus the Canadian mystery meat.. $5.34 tax included.

I always park and go inside to order because I can’t hear well the voice coming through the drive through speakers. There are only two workers at that time and the same pretty young lady (early 20s) that takes my counter order very often says, “no charge”.

I have no idea why she doesn’t charge me but I politely thank her, take my free food home and eat it. Her name is Karen and I’m trying to think of something nice to give her for Christmas.

I’m almost 70 and I’ve always been a night owl. The thought of going to bed at 8 pm is laughable because that’s when my brain starts clicking. I also have ADHD and it takes hours for my brain fog to dissipate, even with medication. 😖

I only use the app to order. I can take my time, know that it gets entered properly in the system, and they have many rewards and deals to boot. I don’t understand why anybody would not use it, unless they don’t have a phone with them.

Get her a gift card. Amazon or a Visa or Mastercard gift card. For myself, I prefer Amazon gift cards from my sons. I give them Visa or Mastercard gift cards for Christmas. They don't expire, and they can spend them anywhere they want. Just make sure there isn't a fee on the card you purchase when she activates it. I usually get mine at Walmart.

Back in the 80s, when I was a teen and the word “teen” meant somebody between the ages of 13 and 19 as opposed to now where “teen” has a totally different meaning, these jobs were filled almost exclusively by teens. Some would become more long term and move into crew leader type positions, and some eventually into management or else they would eventually move on to further schooling or other trades. They were not commonly meant for permanent jobs for adults but stepping stones to get experience and responsibility.

I worked the 3-11 p.m. shift for many years by choice. There's no way I'd be able to hit the sack when I got home, and always stayed up for a few hours. I retired in 2003, and have kept those hours since then. I like to read for a while before I turn out the light. Will be 76 in August. I don't do afternoon naps either.

Sounds like someone sucks at math. Getting multiple people’s lunch and can’t figure out what each person Owen him.

They want their orders bagged separately, easy to understand.

The only thing I eat at McMickeys is the egg mcmuffin - sometimes we’re too lazy or in too much of a hurry to cook breakfast, and Canadian bacon doesn’t keep very long in the fridge, so my homemade mcmuffins are a rarity.

Our local Mickey has 2 drive-thru lines. The kid that was running them the other day would take his sweet time between orders, so the line was long. And he would take 2 or 3 orders on the inside line before taking one on the outside line. Guess which one I was in.....

In certain areas he would probably have been shot by a customer with no anger management skills.
