The British university student who was killed in the tragic Titanic submarine 'implosion' was 'terrified' about the trip and only joined the crew to please his dad for Father's Day, his heartbroken aunt has revealed.

Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman, 19, were two of the five victims killed instantly when the OceanGate submersible suffered a 'catastrophic implosion' just 1,600ft from the bow of the Titanic, according to the US Coast Guard.

The other victims were OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, French Navy veteran Paul-Henri (PH) Nargeolet and British billionaire Hamish Harding. They had been missing since the Titan sub vanished on Sunday, prompting a nail-biting search for the crew

So who dies quicker someone in an imploding sub 2 miles down. Or someone near ground zero of an atomic bomb.

Both faster than you could blink.

Sounds like you are from my generation. When I was 19, I was a Lance Corporal in the Marine Corps stationed out at 29 Palms in the middle of the desert. I'd already been out of the house for close to two years. On Father's Day, I'd line up by the pay phones at the PX to make a five minute call to my Dad. Next time I spoke to him, it was probably Christmas.

But these days, a 19 year old man is still considered to be a child and not only likely lives with his parents but is under their parental control as well. Yes, I know how strange it seems to us. Men well into their 20s are still considered children. I know this because my company covers dependent "children" on their medical plan up to the age of 26.

Anyway, it appears this particular 19 year old man did not want to be on that flimsy boat two and a half miles under the water with the rest of the dumb asses. He seems like he was a smarter man than his Dad and was gifted with more common sense. Pity he apparently did not have the backbone to tell his Dad "no way" regarding the boat. Should have wished his Dad "Happy Father's Day" and "Bon voyage."

Almost pitch black, and then crushed by 5 - 6000 psi of hydraulic pressure...

What a way to go...
