It’s apparently hotter than hell in the Texas prison where Josh Duggar is serving his 151-month sentence.
FCI Seagoville in Texas, where the 35-year-old convicted sex offender and former “19 Kids and Counting” star is doing time, reportedly has “no air conditioning” and is resulting in inmates “passing out.”
“Texas is having record-breaking heatwaves. Most of the buildings in Seagoville don’t have air conditioning for the inmates,” a Seagoville inmate’s loved one told the Sun on Wednesday about the all-male prison.
Last week, temperatures in Seagoville were in the 90s and even topped 100 degrees. There is currently an excessive heat warning in effect in the area until Thursday evening.

They should be outside all day. Working picking cotton or working in cane fields. Moving dirt, rocks or other types of hard work. Then they won’t have time to whine about things.
Air conditioning is a factor in modern life in southern states. It’s disgusting to treat prisoners this way. It’s also stupid, the more you brutalized them when they are in there, the more they’re going to repay the favor when they get released.
Not near as hot as Hell’s gonna be. Consider this as much needed prep, training and a stress test for the real thing.

I am no fan of Josh Duggar but do not approve of torture.
By the time grown men are passing out it is too hot. They as prisoners have no way to relieve themselves like those without air conditioning do.
I am for restitution or death penalty. Sometimes you need to be held in prison for a reasonable length of time. Conditions should be humane. Adequate hydration, nutrition, medical and dental, sleep, movement. Not freezing or inhumanly hot temperatures.
That’s how every single inmate should be treated!
And the real thing will last forever, unless he turns to Jesus Christ before it’s too late!

True.
Homosexual hero Larry Brinkin committed the same, actually much more serious, crime and he got a hand slap from a sympathetic local court.
We’ve been without HVAC for 6 weeks now. Not as bad as it could be. Say if the temps were in the teens instead of hovering near 100. Sorry josh.
Emotionally, that’s not satisfying to a lot of people. But it’s a basic fact of life that almost all of them get released one day. And the more you brutalized them in prison, the worse they are going to be when they get released. What they need, is exactly what you said, and some level of low pay for the work they do, and each one of them should have someone teaching them how to manage their money, and planning how to re-join society someday and not have to return to crime. Of course that won’t work for some people. But a program designed to help them successfully become productive citizen someday is exactly where you identify those ones who will never be able to, and come up with some kind of plan B.
Too bad, so sad, Joshie. Better get used to the heat — it’s in your future.
