Approaching the vehicle, authorities smelled alcohol coming from the car while also spotting five adults and three infants sitting inside.
The three babies were being held in the arms of the women instead of strapped into a car seat. The male driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license. The female passengers were arrested for felony child endangerment.
Bodycam footage of the arrest shows one mother, who is seen sitting on the ground while holding her baby, pleading with deputies to not take her child away.
The woman is heard saying she has a baby car seat at home and asks if she can go home to get the car seat.
A female deputy approaches and says, “We’re past that point. We didn’t realize you had that many kids. You guys each have a kid in the backseat without car seats.”
When the woman doesn’t cooperate, the deputy says, “So do you want me to grab the baby or are you going to hand the baby over nicely?”

Ka-ching!
I just cannot comment on this.
What a surprise NOT
13% as usual resisting arrest and child endangerment
Those mean old cops lol
I watched but didnt see it. Maybe I missed it but it just looked like an arrest where the person had to be handled (due to passive non-compliance) to get cuffed.
In either case, I’d rather see this than a dog shot.
Those “ladies” brought it on themselves, assuming they are even women to begin with. (You never can tell these days).
I wonder if the drunk guy driving with no license was the biological father of all the children.
My thoughts exactly.
Right about 1:24 seconds officer punches the woman at least twice in her face, while two other officers are holding her arms and she still has the child...
This cop needs GONE immediately.
Quiz: who will be first to hire illegals for LEO?
1. California
2. NYC
3. DC
4. Chicago
5. Wash state
6. Minneapolis

I suspect that the police officer was concerned that she was going to kill her baby. They told her that she was under arrest 10x, told her to let go of the baby, tried to take the baby from her multiple times, etc. She was squeezing the baby like a roll of Charmin.
My suspicion is that the police were genuinely concerned for the babies in the car. I can’t imagine that the police would charge three moms with babies just b/c they didn’t have the kids strapped in to safety seats. They were probably high on weed or some other drug.
Thanks. I will wait to judge this one. Maybe she tried to bite him, dont know. Not excusing him if it was unnecessary, but if conventional wisdom does indicate that if you are going to be arrested, resisting only makes things worse. And she was resisting, even if non-violently.
A lot of you on this site have become far too comfortable with the all-powerful state. I can remember when it was up to the people riding in the car whether they wanted to wear the seatbelts, but that was back when this was still a free country. Now cops can whoop your ass and take your kid because you didn’t have him in a car seat? And people here applaud that crap?
Please, the man full on laid into her, she was screaming she wasn’t biting... This cop needs gone.
Two grown men holding her arms, her body is up against a vehicle, she cannot present any threat to anyone, she’s holding a 3 week old child and you punch her at least twice in the face? Nope, you have no business being a cop.
I’m tired of the idiotic behavior of folks on here. Being pro law enforcement does not mean that cops can do whatever they want. Trying to forcibly remove a 3 week old from her mother, you don’t think any mother isn’t going to resist that situation? If you do, then I don’t think you understand motherhood. That doesn’t mean you get to just beat her in the face until she lets go.
This guy should not be a cop.
As deputies moved in, the woman continues yelling while not letting go of the infant. While struggling to detain the woman, a male deputy is seen punching the woman twice in the face. Authorities confirmed the woman was still holding the baby at the time. The woman yells in pain while saying, “You punched me, bro!” She continues yelling in pain while repeatedly saying, “You’re wrong!” as she’s being handcuffed.
I think you’re wrong and that many here would like to hear how you would have gotten her to submit while resisting arrest and continuing to endanger her baby.
I did read the article and I actually watched the film.
Maybe you should do that, rather than taking what you are told at face value.
She is being held by 2 cops, her body is pressed up against the vehicle, and she is still holding a 3 year old in he arms when this cop punched her twice (at least in the face).
video on the article page, right at the 1:24 mark.
If you think this cops actions are justified, then there is no hope for you.
That said, the woman with the baby should not have been punched.
The deputy was fired.
The family will probably sue and win their case. $$$
