Tesla CEO Elon Musk says fellow entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy is a "promising" 2024 GOP presidential candidate.
"He is a very promising candidate," Musk wrote on social media in reference to an interview Ramaswamy did Thursday with conservative pundit Tucker Carlson.
In the interview, Ramaswamy discussed foreign policy, the importance of truth and him being the youngest Republican candidate in the race.
Ramaswamy is the first millennial to run for U.S. president as a Republican and has made a lot of his messaging toward young people and bringing back American pride.
"We are hungry for a cause," he stated during a recent speech. "We are hungry for purpose and meaning and identity at a time in our national history. The things that used to fill our void: faith, patriotism, hard work and family – these things have disappeared."
According to the RealClearPolitics poll average, Ramaswamy is in third place in the GOP primary behind Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis and front-runner former President Trump.
His real name is Vivek Ramaswampy.
I think you’d be hard pressed to find a wealthy person that didn’t benefit from government contracts in one way or another.
I will not vote for someone who denies that there was election fraud in 2020.
Because we will only get more of it.
Mr. Skynet’s/Neurolink’s endorsement tells me everything I need to know.
Donald John Trump. Not hard-pressed at all to do so.
He is promising a lot of things.
If Vivek wishes to be President then it is fair that he endures the scrutiny that others are forced to endure. White Christian men are criticized and tormented for their race and religous beliefs. They cannot sit for an interview without having their person and beliefs assaulted and challenged? What about Vivek. He states he is a Hindu. Does he really believe that multiple gods and goddesses exist and affect human bevavior? Does he accept or reject the caste system? A system that dictates your fate is determined by the circumstances of your birth and at its core is based on skin tone? He ought to be asked these questions and more.Of course anyone who asks will be called a “racist”. However before rational, decent people vote for this guy ,they ought to know what he is about.
I’ll not vote for a ‘practicing’ Hindu.
Maybe Soros is a major invester in Musk as Soros put substantial money into Vivek and wants to keep the family together for an open door to the White House.
ALL of them do it. Few succeed.
Christianity serves a Risen Savior and Lord of all!
remember, in 2008 when romney was campaigning in the primary, the media sat on the sidelines rather than making mormonism an issue UNTIL the gop ticket was stamped. THEN it became an issue in the general.
Same course second verse?
also, as we recall obama’s muslim religion was off topic at any time.
“ Many Gods and Goddesses does NOT Christianity make”
It’s true Hindus have lots of Gods and Goddesses but those are loosely applied. There is a hierarchical order to their Gods. They are not all the same. When they talk of God (singular) they mean the one at the top (like Trump being the head of govt) named Brahma (also known as Vishnu among other names). For all practical purposes that’s the only God in Hinduism.
I don’t trust Vivek as far as I could throw him.
Not just no, HELL NO.
‘Does he really believe that multiple gods and goddesses exist and affect human bevavior?’
of the billions of people who have existed on earth, a large percentage of them believed and continue to believe exactly that...why is their belief sytem any less credible than a monotheistic one..?
All serious studies of comparative religion and culture demonstrate how religous beliefs affect individual behavior and the ultimate success of a civilization. Few will deny that the Calvinist view of man’s ultimate destiny was a huge factor in the historic individual capitalist achievements that created great wealth and aspirations. Nor can it be denied that an equally firmly held belief in a caste system leads to non productive stagnation whatever other talents and latent abilities such believers may have. Humans are theonly species known to have an advanced capacity for mysticism. That mysticism is expressed even in athiests and agnostics in a myriad of ways. How it is expressed tells much about an individual and his or her behavior beyond the rituals.
‘All serious studies of comparative religion and culture demonstrate how religous beliefs affect individual behavior and the ultimate success of a civilization.’
a fine answer, but not relevant to the question I asked you; what makes belief in polytheism less credible than in montheism...?
