resident Biden and his family are huddling in secrecy this week at an exclusive home on the shores of Lake Tahoe in Nevada amid the special counsel investigation into his son Hunter.
According to the White House, the Bidens are renting the $18 million home of environmental activist, businessman and former Democratic presidential candidate Tom Steyer at fair market value for a nine-day vacation following the president's trip to Hawaii to survey damage from the recent devastating wildfires.
Biden is being joined on the vacation, which began Tuesday, by First Lady Jill Biden, their daughter Ashley, son Hunter, his wife Melissa Cohen, their son Beau, and a number of grandchildren.
Its unclear whether the Bidens will be receiving any visitors during their stay as the future of Hunter's legal troubles remains in limbo as special counsel Andrew Weiss' investigation into the president's son continues.
When asked if anyone was expected to pay any visits to the president or his family, a White House spokesperson told Fox New Digital that there had never been any visitor logs kept at the First Family residences or lodgings during travel, and that they intended to continue following that precedent.
The official also noted that the same policy was kept during former President Obama's administration as well.

I hope it’s a permanent vacation and DJT is put back in the White House.
He stole the Oval Office, but he never goes there.
Or has the duty of "greeting" Ol' Rumpleforeskin fallen to the grandchildren?
when will Joe pardon Hunter - himself? both impeachment or the 25th A lurk outside his door.
Creepy Joe is not aware of a need to pardon.
but i suspect Hunter is. and Hunter holds the cards, knowing who said what, who got what $, etc
........the biggest fraud in Hunter’s now-kiboshed sweetheart plea agreement?.........
Delaware kiss-up, prosecutor Weiss, was more than happy to adopt
Hunter’s skate-free version of events on the crucial crimes, thus
Weiss created Hunter’s plea deal strictly on Hunter’s self-serving hearsay.
But wait.......that barely scratches the surface of Weiss’s sabotage of justice.
The “statement of facts” shows that Weiss obediently adopted Hunter’s version
of events..........no doubt while Weiss knelt in obeisance to the Bidens.
Ergo, this exposes Joe Biden’s manipulative hand
<><> (a) there is no real DOJ Biden investigation,
<><> (b) Weiss is hell-bent to kill the case before it engulfs the president
And Hunter is so ... Fredo! It seems that all crime families have one Fredo.
Till joe hunter jill grow tired of drinking and partying on the taxpayers’ dime ?

Message: Now more than ever Americans want the expungement of Trump’s impeachments.
It is an outrage that cokehead whoremonger Hunter Biden was involved in Trump’s impeachment over Ukraine, according to documents leaked to Politico.
Hunter Biden’s lawyers leaked the entire case file related to the DOJ’s 5-year investigation and it’s a sight to behold.
The New York Times and Politico both published leaked documents revealing new information about Hunter Biden’s case and the inner workings at the cockamamie Biden Justice Department.
According to emails leaked to Politico, Hunter Biden met with impeachment lawyers in January 2020.
This is so sick....a total perversion of democracy.

How Joe Biden used personal email to share government business with his cokehead son Hunter

In late November 2014 — before the rest of the world knew that American Martin O’Connor was about to be released from detention in Turkey — the U.S. embassy in Istanbul sent an email to the State Department that was then forwarded to senior advisers to then-Vice President Joe Biden, the Obama White House point man for many foreign policy crises.
“The lead attorney for Mr. O’Connor reports that the court granted the detention appeal and he expected Mr. O’Connor to be released from jail today, barring any unforeseen problems,” the U.S. embassy in Istanbul wrote in an email that got forwarded to top Obama administration security and diplomacy officials, including current Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland. “Mr. O’Connor will not be allowed to leave the country until his next hearing which is set for December 11, 2014. The lawyer expressed confidence that he will be able to leave after that hearing. The attorney is handling his release arrangements, pick up and temporary housing near his law firm’s office. Istanbul consular plans to speak with Mr. O’Connor after his release.”
State Department officials forwarded the information to the vice president’s office, where Biden aide Colin Kahl (now President Biden’s Under-secretary of Defense for Policy) sent it to the private email account robinware456@gmail.com. It wasn’t just any private account. It was one of three pseudonym accounts used by Joe Biden.
Soon after the then-vice president would forward the information to his globetrotting son Hunter Biden with the subject line “Fwd: Mr. O’Connor Being Released from Detention today.”
The email is one of more than a dozen that Just the News obtained and reviewed over the last two years showing how Joe Biden’s personal email accounts were sometimes used during his first White House tenure to forward government information or discuss government...

Is Hunter Biden a criminal? 50% of voters believe the president’s
son did something illegal related to foreign business deals (& bribes)

New polling suggests that aggressive investigations into the Biden family business dealings and the imploding of Hunter Biden’s plea deal are seeping into the American psyche: more believe the president’s son is a criminal than ever before.
Fifty percent of voters who responded to a Fox News poll from August 11-14 said they felt the first son had engaged in illegal activity related to his foreign business dealings, up from 44 percent in April 2023 and 37 percent in February 2023.
Democrats are now twice as likely to believe Hunter did something wrong as they were before - 19 percent believe it now, where only 9 percent did in February. Suspicions of unlawful activity are up 20 percent with Independents, 30 percent in February to 50 percent now, and 11 percent with Republicans, from 69 to 80 percent.

In a dramatic turn of events Hunter’s sweetheart plea deal kiboshed three weeks ago would have seen him given light consequences for allegedly failing to pay taxes and lying on a gun form.
The judge informed him he could still be prosecuted for future wrongdoing, specifically mentioning crimes related to failing to register as a foreign agent.
And as House Oversight Republicans try to tie Joe to his son’s business dealings, 38 percent of Americans now believe the president did something UNLAWFUL...

Meanwhile, Special counsel David Weiss blasted Hunter Biden’s defense team in a court filing on Tuesday, saying his attorneys were wrong to say the government had ‘reneged’ on a plea deal.
Tensions between the two sets of lawyers escalated further this week with bad-tempered court filings. And it comes after Delaware prosecutor Weiss was elevated to the role of special counsel, complete with extra powers..........the better to save Hunter and Joe from disaster.

A new poll showed that electability is not a concern for 45th President Donald Trump. Trump has opened up a 5% lead on President Joe Biden among registered voters, according to Premise Data.
The poll shows Trump leading Biden 43-38 while Florida Governor Ron DeSantis trails Biden in a hypothetical matchup 37-34.
The poll did not produce good results for the Biden White House. Sixty-seven percent of respondents said the country was on the wrong track under Biden’s leadership. In addition, 51% of registered voters polled described Biden’s economy as poor.

Episode 1: Although Joe Biden very often denounces the “cancer of corruption”, this first episode shows that he has lied several times, and that his attitude remains very questionable on this subject.
You will also discover three characters at the heart of Biden’s UkraineGate.
First, Mykola Zlochevsky, the Ukrainian oligarch through whom the scandal happened. Then, General prosecutor Viktor Shokin, whose resignation was obtained under pressure from Joe Biden, less than ten months after his appointment. And finally, the latter’s successor, Yuriy Lutsenko, whom Biden was quick to describe as a “solid man”…
lol....how many will understand that reference from the picture? I got it!
This is all about planning to pulling the levers of power and get a plan for media marching orders for the onslaught that’s coming.
Biden world resigned to a campaign shadowed by Hunter drama

It was barely two weeks ago that the younger Biden was mere minutes away from a plea deal that could have put his legal worries to rest. But a federal judge in Delaware balked at the expansiveness of the immunity being granted. Garland said Friday that he approved the request from Weiss — who had been investigating Hunter Biden and approved the plea deal — to assume the title of special counsel to continue the probe. Weiss, a Trump appointee, said Friday that plea agreement talks had broken down and that a trial was likely.
Outwardly, Biden world downplayed the development and promised full cooperation with the newly empowered special counsel’s investigation.
“This doesn’t change our understanding of Mr. Weiss’ authority over the five-year investigation into Mr. Biden,” said Chris Clark, one of the attorneys for Hunter Biden. “For years, both Mr. Weiss and the Department have assured us and the public that Mr. Weiss had more authority than a special counsel and full authority to negotiate a resolution of his investigation — which has been done. Whether in Delaware, Washington, D.C. or anywhere else, we expect a fair resolution not infected by politics and we’ll do what is necessary on behalf of Mr. Biden to achieve that.”
A narrow reading of the appointment could suggest, some experts said, that in the aftermath of the plea deal collapse, Weiss simply needed the broader powers of a special counsel to prosecute crimes committed outside of his Delaware jurisdiction. Some of the matters Hunter Biden is facing occurred in California and the District of Columbia and there was no certainty that Weiss would expand the probe beyond existing charges.
But there was suggestion, at the plea hearing, of other investigations. And history suggests that Friday represented an expansion of the scope of Weiss’ work, not just an effort to access new venues — some special counsels probing previous administrations have at times dramatically broadened the scope of their inquiries.

The investigation into Hunter was discussed by the Biden family prior to launching the 2024 campaign. First lady Jill Biden made clear last year that it would not play a decisive role in whether or not the president would run for reelection. But the impact that the scrutiny of another campaign might have on Hunter Biden was weighed, according to three people not authorized to speak publicly about private conversations.
The president had long expressed private frustration with the length of the federal investigation into his son — now five years and counting — and has worried deeply about the toll it took on Hunter, who has been open about his drug addiction issues, according to two people close to the elder Biden not authorized to speak publicly about private conversations. The plea deal would have been a marker, the first couple hoped, of a new era in Hunter Biden’s life. Biden calls to check on his son nearly every day, people close to him said, to voice his love, concern and support for Hunter staying sober.
Biden aides — while believing that most voters don’t care about the allegations into Hunter — have grown accustomed to the growing number of accusations being levied against the so-called “Biden Crime Family.” .....Republicans have seized on the allegations — and even discussed impeachment.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy posted on social media that “this action by Biden’s DOJ cannot be used to obstruct congressional investigations or whitewash the Biden family corruption. If Weiss negotiated the sweetheart deal that couldn’t get approved, how can he be trusted as a Special Counsel?”
