Actually I think they have a point about the word. The person who named the bovine that knew what it meant. You don’t just make up words with such meanings randomly. I would be embarrassed if I knew that and didn’t say something. Like the woman we know who had all her children by black men. She thought it was racist to notice the fact in a conversation. It was refreshing to point out to her when she used the word gypped that she was racist against Gypsies.
Unfortunately my inherent white privilege prevents me from giving a rats ass about non white minorities anymore. let em whine.
I was sure this was a satire, maybe The Bee, until I read the term: Jigaboo. Unfortunately, as old fashioned and minstrel related this term is, it is also still widely used by some black folks to denote someone who loiters, selling dope.
Some use it for those who join the Shoplifting Mobs ruining our malls right now.
Another name could have been chosen.
A couple of Boomers in my own family still use it for Bums.
I’ve never even heard the word.

OMG, I thought the name for the cow was just Priceless. Once I got past all the whining, crying, pissing and moaning from the offended individual and read the name of the cow, sorry, I bust out laughing.
ONLY a thin skinned Race Baiter would be offended. Hell my Babushka used that SAME term because she said N***** was not a nice word.
“Gigolo” is not the same as “jigaboo.”
A gigolo is a male prostitute, the equivalent of a mistress.
A jigaboo is a term of contempt for a black person.
any word is ok to use, as long as it is used niggardly.

Do cows get THREE names? Or is that the lineage?
Regardless, what is offensive in those names? Maybe if I drove a Mercedes I’d feel slighted because Beemer got the recognition. Or maybe “Jiggly” upsets the fat crowd. Or maybe the Nehi crowd is upset that “Orange Crush” got the recognition?
Would it still be offensive if the changed the name from Jigaboo to Bigajoo?
