I wish this were the case for 90+ of the entire Senate. God seems willing to let up stew in our own misery.

Here is a man that, when needed to make an informed intelligent and rational decision concerning the welfare of our nation, is stuck in a mental hiccup unable to process information. Yet, his ego (and probably his income from lobbyists) won’t allow his decision to retire!

You make a good point. Folks like him evidently value power over everything else. They just can’t let go. It ultimately hurts them, and the country.
