“is that what we’re experiencing is God’s judgment. ”

There can be no question of this.

Whatever gets him out of there. He’s been the democrats’ best friend for decades.

The “old crow” is breaking down.

He’ll eventually give his “Glengarry Glen Ross donor leads” to one of his Senate puppets.

A Thune or Barrasso type is a McTurtle type.

He’s knockin’ on death’s door. Of that, there can be no doubt. The only question is: is his spirit going to heaven or is it going to hell?

Early dementia signs? He’s having episodes similar to petit mal seizures. He needs to retire and take DiFi with him. Enough with the Senate becoming a hospice facility.

I said that last time as well. I’ve seen these up close. The first time is creepy as hell. After that, you are still worried but you realize there isn’t much you can do.

The really scary thing (aside from the fact that it’s a damned stroke!) is that you really have no idea what part of his brain just died.

These old people are going leave, one way or the other. I wish they would gracefully back out. Their egos dont allow that. It is likely the are going to be taken out toes first.

The only way the other senators are going to consider term limits is if the Feinsteins and McConnells in their midst collapse and die at their feet in the chamber.

He seems to have a fairly rapid onset dementia. I don’t recall him like this a couple years ago.

Big time. He really should retire immediately.

Maybe, although that would be a sad belief if the millions, if not billions, of truly innocent people on this Earth are forced to suffer along.

Absent Christ, no one is truly "innocent." With Christ, these present sufferings are ultimately of no account.

Meanwhile, putting one's hope, much less trust, in man (or any man) to address the problems created by man himself is a fool's errand -- i.e., the Mitch McConnells of this world are small dust in the balance.

“As I posted in another thread....this appears to be another TIA. And “the big one” could be just around the corner.”
Sure looks like a TIA to me, and yes, it would not surprise me if the news cycle breaks in and announces that McConnell has had a massive CVA, e.g. STROKE.

"He’s going to dispute that law"

KY Law. "“The Governor and all civil officers shall be liable to impeachment for any misdemeanors in office; but judgment in such cases shall not extend further than removal from office, and disqualification to hold any office of honor, trust or profit under this Commonwealth.”

He can run for another term. I suspect it would be a suicide mission to dispute the KY law as he only won by 5000 votes last time around. He will be voted out or impeached IMO.

McConnell is dead, Pelosi is dead, Feinstein is dead, Fetterman is dead. They just haven’t been buried yet.

The governor has to pick someone from a list provided by the outgoing senators party

Governor Beshear plans on fighting this and there's a good chance he'll prevail.

In these situations, it’s not so much him holding on
to office, as much as the office/party holding on to him.
