Decades ago, when I was growing up, it seemed all the elderly ladies had Boston Terriers. It looks like they have caught on with a younger crowd.
My first dog was a Boston named, “Bobo”. Great companion.

I have a 80% black pug 20% Boston terrier mix. Think behavior displayed on the video as being on steroids.
You clearly are not a dog owner. There was nothing of torture or disgusting nature in that video. Dogs well cared for develop personalities. This one has a great personality.

Mine is 15 years old and has went blind. My grand daughter loves her to death.
Have had dogs cats fish horses and birds my whole life.
None have ever hurt anyone. I would never deprive them of food on camera to exhibit their disappointment

What is really disgusting is what breeders have done to the Boston’s nose and face, almost flattening the nose into the face. The rest of the skeletal conformation is also poor. This all leads to medical problems.
A Boston should have an actual nose and an athletic build.

Compare the noses on these with the Boston in the video.
Cock fighting would be abuse. You could even argue traditional bull fighting is abuse. Everything in that video you saw was trained, and trained with positive reinforcement. That dog 'learned' to put a paw out if it wants 'more'. If you had dogs, you must have just let them wander in your barn. If you spent time to train them well, you would know this.

I find it remarkably unfunny in tge context of someone telling me to watch it for a laugh
