Wow, that is amazing perseverance and patience! We just visited the Columbia Glacier on the Icefields Parkway between Banff and Jasper, AB. Looking at the scale of the lateral and terminal moraines you get an appreciation for the mammoth size and power of the glaciers. I can't imagine the patience required to search through all the rocks for ancient artifacts like this arrow shaft. Kudos to the team for doing this work!
