Two teenage boys believed to be behind the sick hit-and-run homicide of a retired police chief in Las Vegas have been named as they are charged as adults.
Jesus Ayala, 17, and Jzamir Keys, 16, are suspected of intentionally striking Andreas Probst, 64, while he was riding his bicycle down an empty highway in the northwest of the city at around 6am on August 14.
Ayala was arrested the same day accused of being the motorist behind the wheel of the 2016 Hyundai Elantra which hit the retired cop.
Meanwhile Keys, who was detained this week following a police appeal for information, is believed to be the passenger who goaded the attack and filmed a sick video.
The duo were transferred to the Clark County Detention Center on Wednesday and they will face charges of murder with a deadly weapon, battery and attempted murder in Las Vegas Justice Court, according to local reports.
They appeared in separate hearings on Wednesday morning in Family Court, per the Las Vegas Review-Journal. DailyMail.com has contacted police and the attorney's office for confirmation and for photo identification of the suspects.
Two of Keys' relatives cried during his first appearance in court in front of Hearing Master Timothy Andrews.
One of Ayala's female relatives also attended his appearance before Hearing Master Randall Forman and used the assistance of a translator.
She shielded her face and held back tears as she walked past reporters outside the courtroom afterwards, according to the Journal.

I wish i could have seen their faces when they heard he was a police chief. They must have known they were screwed right there and then.
The only silver lining is knowing that they have to live in a horrible man-filled prison for years. Hopefully they lose the rest of their teens and 20’s in prison. It’s not a video game now, is it you filthy animals?

That's a different question! You've conveniently omitted the preposition "with."
Try substituting "I" for the names of the two criminals (and/or their respective pronouns):
"You know, with I set to be charged next week, I'm beginning to get a little nervous."
You'd never say that, right? Good!
Then why would you say, "With he set to be charged?"
That is equally erroneous.

I think the word "with" is being misused in the sentence.
