The U.S. Department of Justice ordered FBI and IRS investigators involved in the Hunter Biden probe to "remove any reference" to President Biden in a search warrant related to a Foreign Agents Registration Act probe, new documents released by the House Ways & Means Committee reveal.
Committee Chairman Jason Smith, R-Mo., led a vote Wednesday to release new documents provided by IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler that "corroborate their initial testimony to the Committee and reinforce their credibility and their high esteem among colleagues."
"The Biden Administration — including top officials at the Justice Department — lied to the American public and engaged in a cover-up that interfered with federal investigators and protected the Biden family, including President Biden himself," the committee said.
One document released Wednesday was an August 2020 email sent by Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf in which she ordered investigators to remove any reference to "Political Figure 1" from a search warrant. Subsequent documents released Wednesday revealed that President Biden is "Political Figure 1."
"As a priority, someone needs to redraft attachment B," Wolf writes in the email. "I am not sure what this is cut and pasted from but other than the attribution location, and identity stuff at the end, none of it is appropriate and within the scope of this warrant."
Wolf adds: "Please focus on FARA evidence only. There should be nothing about Political Figure 1 in here."

In February 2014, Hunter advised Schwerin to describe himself as a “close confidant and counsel” to his VP dad WRT a letter of recommendation Schwerin was penning on Joe Biden’s behalf.
The NY Post reported that Eric Schwerin was involved in the transfer of Joe Biden’s Senate papers to the U of Delaware in March 2010 — which may have included “sensitive” and “classified” documents.
By December 2017, Hunter had fallen out with Schwerin and attempted to cut ties with him.

Congressional testimony from Hunter’s former business partner, Devon Archer, and newly discussed emails, indicate that the president’s son’s memoir “Beautiful Things” was an exercise in spin rather than truth-telling, especially concerning his father’s role in his foreign business dealings.
That evidence shows the wily Bidens used the memoir to create a politically charged narrative – one largely embraced by the toady mainstream media – that distorted the truth to protect the Biden family.
On page 118, Hunter writes that after accompanying then-VP Joe Biden to China on Air Force Two in 2013 (mooching off taxpayers), he “merely introduced” his father to a well-connected Chinese investor.....a quick greeting just long enough for a handshake.
Hunter writes: “While we were in Beijing, Dad met one of Devon’s Chinese partners, Jonathan Li, in the lobby of the American delegation’s hotel, just long enough to say hello and shake hands. Li and I then headed off for a cup of coffee.”
The account seems to comport with now-President Biden’s repeated denials that he discussed business with his son or had any substantive involvement with his partners.
However, Archer told a different story to U.S. lawmakers during a deposition earlier this year. “Jonathan Li and VP Biden had coffee.....in Beijing......intimating it was business related.
Wolf needs to be subpoenaed immediately, put under oath and grilled like a hot dog about this evidence of malfeasance of office. Then jailed.
Republicans need to scrutinize whether Hunter and his business partners were piggybacking on the foreign and domestic policies of the Obama/Biden administration, colluding WRT the green energy agenda, and Chinese and Ukrainian oligarchs looking to do business in America.

The House Ways and Means Committee released documents Wednesday that Chairman Jason Smith, (R-Mo.), says reveals a deepening pattern of “influence peddling” by the Biden family.
It also underscores Biden’s DoJ officials’ persistent efforts to obstruct the investigation into Hunter.
The Committee voted to release 700 pages of materials from the federal investigation into the Biden family that were provided by IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler.
In prepared remarks, Cong Smith said that Hunter Biden and his family operated a “complex and lucrative enterprise” to “enrich themselves to the tune of at least $20 million.”
“It is clear that then-VP Joe Biden’s political power and influence was, “the brand” that Hunter Biden was selling all over the world,” he added.

I thought other charges against Hunter had to be filed before the end of the month.
They should all be heavily scrutinized just for having maintained appearances of impropriety for so long, and it should get even more heavy-handed from there. This is hardball, baby, and we need to run at them like Ty Cobb with our spikes sharp and shin-high.
So, arrest someone.
