A man who killed two women he met a day apart at north Florida bars in 1996 has been executed
A man who killed two women after meeting them a day apart in north Florida bars in 1996 was put to death Tuesday evening.
Michael Zack III, 54, was pronounced dead minutes after 6:14 p.m. following a lethal injection at Florida State Prison in Starke.
The execution started promptly at 6 p.m. Zack was asked if he had any last words, and he answered, “Yes sir.” He then lifted his head to look at the witnesses and said, “I love you all.”
He was executed for the murder of Ravonne Smith, a bar employee he befriended and later beat and stabbed with an oyster knife in June 1996. He also was convicted and separately sentenced to life in prison for murdering Laura Rosillo, who he met at another Florida Panhandle bar.

Are they still alive to see it?
Justice delayed is justice denied.
On the other hand, Better late than never.
If only there was a warning sign which would have tipped the women off, they would be alive today.

Nope. He has been in jail since 1996. Sentenced to death in 1997.
And there were people still working to stop his execution.
Very easy. I’m a guy and I stay out of bars. Women should do the same. I can take care of myself very well thank you.
Drink at home. Girls if you are starving for attention there are far better places to go. Far better places to get drugs.
If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime.
At least he didn’t have the opportunity to murder somebody else.

Only in very limited situations eg you know everybody in the bar. Looking for love in all the wrong places ends up bad for most girls.

The two women lived a few hours after meeting him in a bar. He lived 23 more year. I hope the put him into a 55 gallon drum and bury the drum at one of the exits from the prision to the exercise yard with the caption: “Who is next?”
