Send him home with his family. Let them see how it would be best to restrain him from injuring himself of another sutdent.
However, any reference to the child's gender was redacted as well. We can see it's a male child but all the "his" or "he" or "him" pronouns were blacked out.
The world has gone crazy.
I’m so glad I retired from teaching.
Regarding the video where the kid was in the mailroom those adults in the room are the largest part of the problem.
They let him do as he pleased and LET him act out. This is a reflection of those in that room and THEIR skills in handling a out of control kid - they did nothing.
They could have intervened but they did not ( most likely afraid of being sued by litigious parents) but teachers are allowed control while on duty.
Th temper tantrum this kid was having was triggered by something & I don’t know what but its very obvious he can and does act out like this at home & in other public spaces. its quite clear he has been behaviorally INDULGED on & off campus.
His behavior started at home, too.
He may have learning disabilities.
Its quite obvious he is unable to
correctly process what is going on inside of him & this calls for a child shrink and play therapy because he most like doesn’t have dropped he vocabulary to express what is going on inside of him.
A large part of his problem began at home with no obvious boundaries and Mommy & Daddy are fed up to the gills with his behavior, too, but appease him with Playstation time or his favorite movies, etc..but these types of rewards do not change his behavior because he cycles in and out of all this similarly to the Cycle of Abuse (if someone could post a pic of that I would be grateful, it would help in understanding.)
When I was teaching in high school there were kids with emotional disabilities in a totally sep section of the school. These were the kids where their behavior issues were not addressed early on...so they wind up in high school...
This PUBLIC high school was one of a number of them in a very highly regarded state and county . The $$$ and geographic profile there was bar none the very best of the best in the mid-atlantic states and received many accolades nationwide.
So it does go to show that this behavior crosses all boundaries; wealthy or impoverished.
Bottom line is this: it all starts at home and thats the genesis of this kids problem...
The problem is our society. Teachers are afraid of touching kids anymore for fear of lawsuits so they call cops, who have no business being called to school for child discipline. Parents aren’t notified and should be the first call.
My teachers or principal back in the day would whip out and brandish “Blisterwood”, the name of the paddle they used, which was often enough to calm the situation.
Doing this to a child is unconscionable for any reason whatsoever. This automatically puts the belief in his own mind that he is a future thug and criminal. I have no doubt he will now live up to his own sad image of himself.
Also, who taught the kid some of the vocabulary he used? Maybe he got it from Tranny Hour? Or just plain crude parents?
Nothing wrong with what the cops did here. And the most telling clue is that it worked. Between the fear of the cuffs and the teacher talk the kid settled down.
The parents who wish to capitalize on their child’s bad behavior are real low life’s. They should get the bill for all the trouble.
ADHD is the result of a chemical imbalance in the brain, much like bipolar and manic-depression. Do you advocate fresh air and exercise and “stern discipline” for those conditions too? Diet and exercise alone can certainly help manage psychiatric illnesses but they won’t cure them. The drugs given for ADHD aren’t “mind-altering” anyway. They merely help moderate the brain’s dopamine and/or serotonin levels in the brain.
Cops should be provided with strait jackets so the aggressors cannot injure themselves and others ... an appropriate medical intervention method.
Is he one of those 6’3 nine yr olds?
Parents are suing? Really?
Then the cops should go ahead and arrest the kid for assault on a police officer and the school employees...and anything else they can prove.
Parents? Your move.
Unreal.
My dad would have cratered me if a teacher so much as sent a note home.
Bring back caning!
My spousal unit used to teach (past tense).
She quickly learned that a whole class room was at the whim of one student and that one special ed student usually had the system mastered.
You gotta laugh at someone telling me ADHD drugs are not mind altering and in the next breath tell me, the drugs alter the dopamine and/or serotonin in the brain...that by definition is mind altering.
I recognize bipolar and manic-depressions disorders are real, what I’m talking about is the high percentage of kids who are put on mind-altering drugs from a very early age simply for being overactive.
We’ve basically removed discipline and substituted drugs, we removed a balanced wholesome diet with processed and fast food, we’ve removed physical activity for computer games and cellphones. This has gone on for so long that the parents themselves are under the influence of mind-altering drugs.
I firmly believe if you put kids on a healthy diet, got them involved in some type of physical activity and took away their computers and cellphones and served up a healthy dose of discipline, a high percentage of kids would not be on mind-altering drugs.
Yes, they are. He'll probably be in prison or be dead by the time he's 25.
“The problem is our society. Teachers are afraid of touching kids anymore for fear of lawsuits so they call cops, who have no business being called to school for child discipline. Parents aren’t notified and should be the first call.”
That is what I was thinking. There have been several cases where teachers have had to drag an out of control kid to the office and got in trouble. Well the kid was acting like a jackass and would not go to the office by his own means. The teacher did not want the other kids harmed so the kid had to be pulled away.
The parents are embarrassed that their kid was drug through the hallway but not over their kid’s behavior that lead up to this.
So yea, call the cops and if needed have the brat arrested. From the looks of things they will be in a jail cell soon enough anyway.

I don’t see a justification for the parents’ lawsuit.
But, I’m wondering why this kid was in the mailroom.
The teachers’ soft, “understanding” tone was useless.
He needs someone to be tough with him.
Agree.
I , too, remember the day .
Our shigh school pricipal
had the paddle and some
guy in Shop Class at the behest
of the principal drilled
holes in it.
I remember clearly one fella
