Again you speak with no knowledge at all about me, my mother was a teacher for over 40 years, my father was a teacher and principal for a similar amount of time, they were teachers during forced integration in the South, if I had a dollar for every time one or the other had their life threatened I could have retired 20 years ago.
Never once in their combined careers did either have any child being treated for ADHD or ADD or whatever it’s called now
Take your sanctimonious attitude and go somewhere else with it, kids worked back then, fast food barely existed, PE was a required course in elementary and high school, the internet and cell phones didn’t exist and the country got by just fine
Are ADD and ADHD real but IMO the vast majority of kids today being treated with mind altering drugs are misdiagnosed, it’s just to easy today to take a pill and drug children instead of changing their lifestyle in many cases because the parents are equally drugged up

Which sounds a lot like what I wrote on my first post to you: :Can you believe that some children are hyperactive because of the environment (physical activity replaced by screentime, etc.) and yet some children having higher activity levels genetically?
Hyperactivity is not a bad thing when the solution is mind altering drugs which do nothing to solve the problem except turn the child into a drug addict which many times carries on the rest of their lives
In today’s world alternative solutions are often times never considered, it’s like Covid where the only solution is drugs which haven’t been fully tested and have questionable effects at best

Did they consider calling the parents instead of the police?
I agree that there should be alternatives, but for some people, taking the drug allows them a chance in our current society that they might not otherwise have.
I have been seeing ads for women who took acetaminophen during pregnancy whose children had autism. And there are so many residuals of drugs in our water!
Just handing out drugs is not the answer, and even finding alternative treatments... we also need to make sure that there isn’t a cause we could have control over.
In today’s society every solution has a pill to take, the latest craze is taking ozempic and wegovy for weight loss
Covid was where the only solution was untested vaccines
I think giving children mind altering drugs for years often times creates other problems, like nearly everyone of the school shootings we’ve seen was done by children who had been given drugs to cure one issue and created another, this is just my opinion
Now children are being drugged by parents who just as drugged, I know entire families sharing a prescription for antidepressants
The long term consequences are unknown
