”War. War never changes.” (Opening cinematic from Fallout 3)

Definitely one of the top ten greatest games ever made.

Vault 101? Homage to 1984’s Room 101?

F3 and Fallout New Vegas were both excellent. F4 was a good effort but fell short. 76 was awful at launch it got better but not great. It may be the concept is spent.

Maybe. Vault 101 like all the other vaults was secretly intended to study human behavior in drastic circumstances. Vault 101 was ostensibly meant to allow no one to enter or ever leave (though it's pretty obvious that some do).

There's a list somewhere of all the known vaults and the experiments going on within them. Among other things one vault had 99 women and one man, while another had 99 men and one woman.

There was also a vault that had one man and a crate filled with various puppets. And yet another that had a panther running loose inside it.

I just finished their newer game Starfield. To *ME*, it felt like intergalactic Fallout in many places.

YMMV, offer not valid in Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.

Fallout 3 was special, and unique. However, the color pallet was largely anchored in blues and grays, and was not the visual treat Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 4 was.

I’ve slowly warmed to Starfield. I wish it was more innovative but I guess I can settle with what they produced.

I’d have liked it a lot more if you could establish your own faction and start conquering planets. I mean, you can assemble a large fleet of ships, but only use any one of them at a time. You can crew ships but they do not independently act.

I liked all the Fallouts except 76. I cannot wait for a Fallout 5.

It is. I wish they had innovated more. The outposts look promising though. I should explore that more.

Yes, starfield is fallout in space but it has a fatal flaw. Very wide but very shallow. Many planets but no depth. After a while you realize you are going from planet to planet doing pretty much the same thing

Fallout 3 isn't so much a video game as it is an experience. The kind of game that you tell stories about for many years to come.

I'm still laughing about finding the shrine to Abraham Lincoln down in the basement of Robert E. Lee's mansion.

If I only had the time to play anymore. Then again, true gamers got left behind long ago with the console craze as well as the game developers giving US the middle finger.

PC gamers rule.

Revelation 21:6

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Well, I play Toon Blast and am currently at level 8551, thereby reaching the Champions League for the umpteenth time and am currently on stage 84. Β  I tell myself that I play the game to keep my mind active but I never thought to post about it on this forum. Β  TEHO I suppose.

I’m just booting up Fallout 76 now - it’s 76’s 5th birthday also!

One of my favorite franchises!
