Occupational costumes are nothing out of the ordinary for children on Halloween whether it's nurses, army people, or astronauts. One Scotts Valley boy wanted to dress up as a grocery store employee.
Maxon told his mother Trisha that instead of going out to trick or treat, he dreamed of being a Safeway employee for Halloween. Hid did just that today and got to work with his best buds at the store.
Maxon got to work the registers, patrol the isles, and even work the food counter. He was a natural doing so!
That’s pretty cool. I’m sure he did a great job.
There’s a few employees at my local Safeway I’d like to him replace.
Worked at a Safeway for quite a while. One Halloween I put on a suit backwards, except for the shoes. Even put a pair of glasses on the back of my head. Had a name tag on back Bass Ackwards.
One year I decided I wanted to win the Safeway Employees Halloween Best Costume Contest, so I rented a great tuxedo. By then I mostly stocked shelves, and only went up front as a cashier when it was really busy. So....it gets busy, and I go up to my checkstand, start checking out groceries in my tuxedo. Later on, I am the only one with any customers in line. The other checkers had no customers. The manager actually calls me on the checkstand phone, complaining about the situation. I just have my head down, trying to check out the groceries. The boss keeps complaining, I tell him I’m just in my checkstand, what am I supposed to do? The boss says some words I cannot repeat and hangs up the phone. The other checkers come over to my checkstand and help bag the groceries. Almost everyone is smiling and laughing.
So what does Chad Vader wear at Empire Foods or n Halloween?

Patrol the isles? If I were an English teacher, you would not be able to graduate High School without knowing the difference between Aisles, and Isles.
Too many have false dreams of being the CEO with out thinking it takes any work to get there.

Used to be our local grocery store. Their cashiers were pretty miserable during all the COVID craziness.
