A charity for a disease that can cause serious pain and pregnancy complications for females has appointed a transgender woman to be CEO.
Endometriosis South Coast (ESC) is described as an "inclusive" charity set up to support those diagnosed with endometriosis or adenomyosis. These two diseases occur when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus or into the uterine muscular wall itself.
ESC recently announced that Steph Richards, a transgender woman who uses she/her pronouns, was named the new CEO of the charity.
The announcement included a picture of Richards alongside a quote that read, "Isn't it ridiculous that I've got to my 40s before any medical professionals even mentioned endometriosis?!"
Richards describes herself as an intersectional feminist and human rights activist, previously working as Portsmouth's Labor Women's and LGBTQ Officer.
On the social media platform X, Richards wrote that she was "genuinely honored" to be named to the position.
"My mission will be to oversee the charity's everyday running, raise awareness of #endometriosis and #adenoyosis and raise the profile of ESC," Richards said.
The new CEO also revealed that she would advocate for health hubs, hopefully cutting wait times and reducing suffering for afflicted women.
"Feminism has many causes, far too many to put in one tweet - but for me, inequality in healthcare is a priority and I will do my best to help overcome this injustice," Richards added.

Simple rule of thumb: When you see the word ‘transgender’, substitute the word ‘phony’.

“Transgender” is not a thing. It is transvestitism with a very intense cosplay, which may include surgical enhancements and/or hormone therapy, done for purely cosmetic reasons, and in no way to treat or control health or injury conditions. The underlying gender marker in every cell of the body is not changed in any way, shape, form, fashion or manner.
XX is female, XY is male, and suppression of outward manifestations only may, at most, change the gender from “male” to “neuter”, or “female” to “neuter”. No complete transformation of male to female, or female to male, has ever succeeded, nor shall it ever be possible until the technology exists to transform every cell in the body.
And there are billions and billions of cells. The sheer magnitude of such a task is staggering, and there is no assurance of viability upon completion of the task.
Gender dysphoria may be very real. But surgical intervention and hormone treatments are not the way to treat such a fanciful condition.
I suppose if publicity and fund-raising is the job, you don’t have to have suffered the condition yourself to do this job. I mean, if you were running a charity to treat leprosy, you don’t have to have leprosy yourself. But it’s pretty insulting to give the job to someone for whom being female is merely an option.

When you hear or read “transgender”, just replace that word with “fake” and it will tell you exactly what they are describing.
I identify as both a Psychiatrist and a Surgeon. For sufficient cash, I stand ready to fully assist any trans individuals with all aspects of transition to whatever gender they choose. Anyone who doesn’t support this by paying me and being counseled and cut is a disgusting truth-denying bigot.
