Dalena Martin and her husband, Jeremy Martin, voluntarily entrusted the care of their daughter to family friends after they relapsed on their drug addictions. It’s called a temporary safety plan.
Child Protective Services got involved after that, WFAA reported. The state offered an option to place the 2-year-old girl, McKenna, in a relative’s home. Two weeks later, that family’s pit bull lunged at McKenna across a table and attacked her.
“It then got the taste of blood in her mouth and went crazy,” Dalena Martin told WFAA. “She (the dog) was already becoming reactive, but she was a family dog and she laid with McKenna the night before.”
McKenna was taken to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, where she’s been since. The dog attacked her face, crushed her cheek bones and bit her leg.

Even if it IS the owners, ask these people how they characterize such unfit owners. Bet they can't.
I'll contend that nearly all pitbull owners ARE these types of owners, due to their choice to own a vicious, unpredictable breed.
Breeding these dogs should have been made illegal years ago. That would have mostly ended the problem.

I’ll elaborate. There are two types of Pit owners…1) black urban hood yutes slinging rock and walking down the street because a rapper told him it looked cool. 2) white marginally employed males predominantly in “wife beaters” who also wear their hats kicked to the side and can be found in the nearest trailer park or soon to be condemned domicile.
This is just another distraction so we don’t notice the 13,000 invaders streaming across the border daily.

The more the reputation grows the more ubiquitous they become.
Any dog type has some positive traits but what traits are so unique to pit bulls that so many people seeking a pet reject all the other wonderful dogs with wonderful traits and few to zero negative traits and decide that only the pit bull is the right pet for them and their family?
I’m willing to bet that pit owners have at least 5 tattoos or a tattoo that covers an entire body part.
CPS took the girl away from family friends, and gave her to relatives with a pitbull.
She doesn't need any more "looking after" from CPS idiots.
