we know from past warming periods that warming was GOOD for humanity....that it resulted in human flourishing. Well there you have it, and why it must be stopped. There are to many people in the world now, this will exasperate overpopulation and our limited resources. A few billion will have to die but sustainability and equity are more important.

Unfortunately, a 2020 study predicted wave heights in the North Pacific are going to increase with climate change...Of course! Climate change!

Leslie Neilson was captain of that ship.
If I remember correctly, author Paul Gallico was on a ship that was hit by one of these rogue waves, long before Glo-Bull warming ever was an item.

An entire hotel and lodge industry exists on and around Ucluelet, British Columbia for winter wave watching as every year massive waves pound the coast in that part of Vancouver Island.
The economy of that area is partly funded for the whole year based on that business. Always been on my bucket list.

I’m too lazy to go to the bookshelf and read Admiral Rafael Semmes report on the rogue wave that struck the Alabama in the Carribean, but I’m fairly certain it was 50 feet or more. That was well before Global Warming was invented.

The Tofino-Uclulet-Pacific Rim National Park area is wholly infested with potheads and communists. The views are OK, but the constant rain and drizzle from mid-September until late May is utterly depressing.
I lived on the island for over 4 decades, and am grateful I could escape.
It’s a glorious place to visit, but I don’t recommend staying more than a couple of months.

Someone drives a nice car, lives off the fat of the land, drinking wine and frequenting upscale restaurants with money provided to research wave heights,in the context of the climate cult.
