Fox News audio and sports reporter Matt Napolitano has died at the age of 33 after a long battle with an autoimmune disease.
Napolitano died from an infection, his husband, Ricky Whitcomb announced on social media.
“With a heavy heart I have to share that my husband @MattNapolitano passed away yesterday morning. He loved his job and he loved bringing the news to your radios and televisions.”
“An honest journalist who truly cared about facts. You can thank him for the last minute Jets win today.”
Napolitano worked as a writer for the SiriusXM channel Fox News Headlines 24/7 and also as an anchor and reporter on various shows on the network.
During his time at Fox, Napolitano worked on “Cavuto Coast to Coast” on Fox Business Network and also produced content for the Fox News Edge service,
Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott expressed her condolences in a memo to employees:
“Matt did everything from anchoring to writing and producing for our audio platforms and loved being able to work in the journalism field that he trained for his entire life.”
Scott also praised Napolitano for his strong work ethic and commitment.
CBD News reported that Napolitano worked as an anchor and reporter, writing and producing segments for all Fox News audio platforms.
He contributed sports-related coverage for Fox Business Network’s “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” weekday series anchored by Neil Cavuto.
He also did voice work for the Fox News Edge service, which delivers news coverage and content packages to Fox affiliate stations around the country.
Variety reported: Outside of work, Napolitano was an avid fan of “Jeopardy.” He was a contestant in 2020 on the syndicated game show, achieving a long-held dream after engaging in a methodical process of applying to be chosen for the show that began when he was a teenager. He also appeared as a contestant on “Wheel of Fortune” in 2016, making it to the bonus round on that game show.
And break FReeper protocol? I think not!
Dead at 33.
After a 20-year struggle with AIDS.
Got it at 13?
Did he have any connection to all the fun at Epstein’s Island?
Autoimmune. So that’s what they’re calling aids now. 🤔
Per NBC
“In one of those posts, Whitcomb said that Napolitano “had an auto immune disease that he was diagnosed with almost 20 years ago and died as the result of an infection.”
You get infections that can kill you by being penetrated by a dirty penis.
I just recently got over a non-AIDS virus.
If AIDS was half that bad, I feel terrible for all those jokes I made.
Reading the article is forbidden here. You only read three quarters of the headline and then off to the comments section to say how the article affirms your favorite (conspiracy) theory.
