I’ve been to both the Parthenon and Pantheon and in many ways the Pantheon is more amazing. Never went to back rooms though but would have if I knew they were there.
Mind-boggling to be in both of these. Standing under the main dome of the Parthenon cannot be described.
Parthenon is a good portion made of concrete. Amazing it has lasted almost 2,000 years of earthquakes with minimal damage.
