Nextdoor has such an awful reputation in my book that I stopped doing business with two associates of mine simply because they both invited me to set up an account on that site.
Don't necessarily judge 'em. Took me a few months to figure out the place was a crazy-farm.
The in-your-face advertising on Nextdoor made the site unreadable.
The CEO revealed herself as an open Communist. I don’t have the exact statement that she posted during the St. George riots, but she basically gave a blanket go-ahead to the BLM posters to denigrate whitey all they wanted in their postings on the site, but if you shared a contrary opinion, you were marked for deletion.
This completely contradicted the stated policy that outside of specific interest groups on the site, you were not to post political content.
