Sometimes I like Rogan, it depends on who he's talking to. I don't think he's worth $250 million dollars worth of revenue to Spotify.

I like Rogan well enough. I’m not a regular listener, but I’ve seen plenty of short, enjoyable segments from his shows. I’m happy for him and the amazing success he has had.

What really amazes me is that I don’t think anyone (including Joe) would try to say that he is especially brilliant or especially talented. He’s just a guy. But he actually listens to his guest (more hosts should try this) and he actually is interested in other people. Joe’s formula is really simple and really straightforward. He’s making huge amounts of money because he’s practically the only person in his business who makes any effort to put his own ego off to one side. That seems to be his big skill. But it’s a crucial one.

most entertainment, news, movies, podcasts etc, is based on capitalism. People watch or listen and you get paid Millions listen, you get paid more.
