Trump basically ignored all his 2015-2016 campaign promises - specifically, The Wall, E-Verify, and Foreign Labor policies.
More specifically, because Trump appointed Open Border Republicans to staff the Department of Homeland Security, and because Trump appointed an Open Borders General to be White House Chief of Staff.
Massive legal and illegal immigration was my #1 issue at Free Republic from 2005 [Bush-McCain Amnesty] until about 2018, when it became obvious that Trump was just one more GOP Gas Bag on Immigration.
In the three years before Covid, Trump naturalized more new citizens, Trump issued more Green Cards, and Trump issued more Foreign Work visas, than Obama did, during Obama's last three years in office.
The GOP has become a permanent minority political party because 50 million naturalized citizens and their USA born children vote 70% for the Democratic Party - and no one at Free Republic seems to care.

According to one of her columns, she’s done with Trump because he didn’t follow through on building the wall. Being a one-trick pony in political commenting doesn’t take her influence very far.
Be good to know her endorsement; guessing DeSantis or Vivek. But she’d likely bail on them too on a single disappointment.

I’ve seen that video several times. I believe that when she said it she really believed it. And the snide, evil, acidic contempt spewed upon her by the other guests somehow bruised, scorched, shredded her psyche somehow. And even though Trump triumphed like she predicted, her heart and soul never recovered from the pain of that put-down. So now she’s taking the low road and siding with the very ones who injured her in the first place. JMHO.

I liked her brash method of stating her opinions. Sadly, she is entirely self serving and always was. Her loyalty is transactional.
I voted for Ron Paul, Perot and Libertarians. There has never been much difference between D’s and R’s in my lifetime. I was a Nixon supporter before and after Watergate. Voting for him once when I turned 18 in ‘72. The only President I supported with dough, and door knocking who won, was Trump. Outside of MTG, Matt Gaetz and Kari Lake, they can pound sand.
