TAMPA, Fla. – Governor Ron DeSantis held a press conference at the Florida State Fair in Tampa on Thursday at 12:25 p.m.
In an effort by desantis to keep name in the media daily to stealth campaign (yes he had a press conference in the news yesterday, too).
desanctimonious announces another press conference...
what about, no one knows?
I didn’t know states had State Fairs in the winter!!! No where I ever lived did - NY or CA
That threw me too, but it’s Florida.
You are aware that Governor DeSantis IS THE GOVERNOR and it is normal for the governor to hold press conferences and to attend meetings and events, right?
Maybe you need an intervention, take a deep breadth, maybe even a time out.
“I didn’t know states had State Fairs in the winter!!! No where I ever lived did - NY or CA
Well, the Florida State Fair is in February.
Florida doesn’t care how they do it in New York; probably because the climate is somewhat different.
A sore winner is a bad look, isn’t it? Sad.
He’s ate up ain’t he? Lol!
DDS on steroids 🤣
Oh, the HORROR!!!
A State Governor spoke at HIS OWN STATE’S State Fair.
It’s shocking!!! It’s atrocious!!! It’s an ABOMINATION, I tell you!
Heresy! Blasphemny! Sacrilege!!!
How DARE he?!?!?!?!?!
Enjoy!

While pondering what you don’t know, tell us about what you do know.
Tell us about your earlier claim that you had determined all insurance rates in Florida were too high.
Can you share your data?
“Florida doesn’t care how they do it in New York”
Damn straight we don’t.
you keep gaslighting and lying about the insurance problem in Florida, when you could have had honesty and moral, and posted increased premiums we’re a problem.
but, as typical for many never trump desantis supporters, you don’t.
Marco Rubio says his homeowners insurance has increased 300% in just 2 years
During an interview with WFME in Orlando, Marco Rubio said his homeowners insurance rates had “seen probably a 300% increase in the last two years.”
“It’s getting really tough for a lot of people out there,” the Senator said, before offering insights into how a regional problem is everyone’s problem now.
next, you’ll be claiming rubio said that, because he supports Trump, right?
How so? I’ve supported Trump 2016 and 2020 and up to about May. I’ve still defended him since, including elsewhere today. I’ve never been a boot-licking Kool-Aid drinking disciple of anyone, nor totally hostile. On that point, tell me the last time when you defended DeSantis, agreed with him. Heck, maybe even admitted that he is MAGA, has as even Trump said, nearly identical positions on most everything. Or, do you disagree with Trump on that?
He’s doing his job, being a leader, like always. Why does that bother you so much?
Earlier you made the claim there was a problem with insurance of all types in Florida.
Said you: “well, considering desanctus still hasn't done anything to address or even consider addressing the problem with insurance of all types, even as he's making p.r. appearances daily, he has no chance ever again of political office”
But now, you can cite only Marco Rubio’s contention that his home insurance “probably” increased 300 percent.
If that is true it is reasonable to ask where his home is located? How much is it worth? What are the deductibles? What were the building codes during construction? Has he had previous claims? What is the history of recent hurricanes in Florida? If home insurance rates were set 75 percent lower, would insurance companies have the reserves needed to pay claims if two or three major hurricanes waded ashore in Florida's populated coastal counties during one year?
If you can't answer these questions - and you have avoided doing so - how do you know for certain that home insurance rates are too high on Senator Rubio’s properties?
Even if you concede you really don't know the facts surrounding Senator Rubio’s preference for lower insurance rate on his home, you will still have the right to attack Governor DeSantis for some other reason, or no reason at all.
I hope he does speak there, but about FL issues.
He hasn’t addressed those in a year.
