Those disgusting biscuits are enough to drive most people off. I wont even return to a place trying to palm that trash off on me as though it was food.

I remember buying fifteen cent hamburgers at McDonald’s - then going next door for gasoline - 13 to 17 cents a gallon... and no one put their own gas in the tank. That was done by service station attendants who also cleaned your windshield, checked your oil level, tire pressure and tossed the empty McDonald’s paper in the trash for you.

On the downside we didn’t have seat belts so the front right seat was called the ‘death’ seat’ because that person (usually the wife) would go through the windshield in the event of a minor crash.

I grew up in the restaurant business.

What the Big Mac is worth has little to do with the frozen beef patties and slices of American cheese.

If you want a $6-$7 Big Mac, start with $7.50 per hour wages for the guy flipping the patties.

On April 1, a new law in California goes into effect. The minimum wage for any employee at a fast-food business will be $20 per hour. I kid you not. (For every other business the min. wage in the state is $16.)
Unbelievable.
And it’s not clear what constitutes a fast-food business.
I can’t wait to see the prices then.

C’mon, WHAT can he do to lower prices enough to impress anyone? Take less profit? Prices reflect reality presumably.

Culver’s is the only fast food we ever eat, once in a Blue Moon.

And, if you’ve ever eaten there, it’s not really ‘fast’ food as they make each order as requested. :)

The solution is to get Democrats out of government, frankly. They are the cause of it all.

“The battleground is certainly with that low-income consumer.”

It’s true, but it was a dumb thing for a CEO to say.

‘Steaming Hot Coffee’ - Didn’t that end up costing them Millions when some doofus spilled their coffee in their lap? ;)

‘Refreshing Cold Milk’ - My Sister and I always end a conversation about what we made for supper with...’And cold, cold glasses of MILK!’

When I was a kid, ‘Dairy Queen’ was the fast food joint we always went to.

And I did my time as a teenager in ‘Fast Food Hell’ in My Little Town working for a McDonald’s Wanna-Be called, ‘Mars.’

OMG! If you ever saw the inside of a Milkshake Machine you would be off of Milkshakes for the rest of your Natural Born Days, LOL!

Those 7 t0 10 years when they had a dollar menu, I kept thinking, “Consumers who keep going to McD’s are going to be charged for that one of these days.” It was an unsustainable business mode. Hiking prices enormously now is rubbing salt in the wounds from previous hikes due to the pandemic.

We used to have a McD’s treat meal on Sundays after church. No more.

“McDonald’s and Chipotle have signaled that prices will have to increase in response to the high labor costs.”

We are told by liberals this is NOT ever a problem.
