President Biden—the Matter Is Not Over, Not Now, Not Ever
Twitter / X ^ | February 9, 2024 | Victor Davis Hanson

President Biden Thursday night hit rock-bottom as he gave a mean-spirited distortion of the special counsel’s report. And in the process, Biden further embarrassed himself, his toady press, and the country at large. In sum, the press conference disintegrated into an embarrassing free for all.

Note that following:

1. To prove that he is cognizant, and does not believe that some dead European leaders are still alive, Biden assured us that President el-Sisi of Egypt was actually the President of Mexico, and almost seemed to believe that the Gaza corridor to Egypt was on our southern border. The more he talked, the more he confirmed Hur’s conclusions.

I don't like to be the bearer of bad news, but "rock-bottom" is a long way below where we are at the moment.

using the mentally incompetent defense to keep a sitting president out of jail

We could have had a 9-0 decision that Biden has presidential immunity and a simlar 5-4 decision that Trump doesn't. Consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds, an afflication fortunately not affecting "it's a tax" Roberts and his sidekick.

That was my first reaction, too. Biden hasn’t plumbed anywhere near the rock bottom.

When Reagan was president they accused him of what Biden actually is/does.

2 new standars have been set in Xiden’s America to avoid being charged with crimes:

1. Be an illegal alien.

2. Identify as elderly and forgetful but well-meaning.

Liberal media also picked on President Gerald Ford, for 1 or 2 stumbles and misspelling something.

Not many, including VDH, seem to understand the quality of theater that Americans get. The Press Corps did not undergo miraculous change. They were in on it. The stage is being set. Biden will exit stage-left and ?Newsom? will enter stage-right.

This orchestration requires communication. No one seems to ask how the talking points get around. I suggest the 2016 WikiLeaks on steroids, or more likely, Chinese military encryption.

claiming he had to focus on presidential business

Strangely reminiscent of Clinton's, "I Have to get back to work for the American people."

True. Hypocrites living in the Manhattan bubble.

When President Eisenhower was cautioned by an aide about the way the press the next day was going to try to make him look bad over a new policy he said: “I’m not worried. I’ll tell them some folksy things and say some asides and have them so confused they won’t know where to turn.”

He took office at the incredibly ancient age of 62 years and 98 days.

There’s a weasel loose in their underwear. RFKjr polls better than The Dems right now.

Dan Quayle misspelled “potato.” So, I might be wrong - attributing the misspelling to Gerald Ford.

Good article—but Biden must remain on the job to continue his Height against Fate.

So what he’s saying is....look...I know I had those documents. They weren’t exactly secure like Trump had his...and I know I wasn’t supposed to have them..I was just a VP...so what...it’s not like I was hiding something...they’re right there...all 300 pages...and I remember what’s on each of them.

The Democrats are:

- not the party of dissent, but

- the party of defining intent.

They know what you are thinking, while you struggle to defend your original intent.

When you cross them, they will find someone “special” to “prosecute” you or arrange some “court decision” that reflects their mindreading and asserts their will thru their liberal media.

They define:

- the color of your skin
- whether or not you “care”
- equality
- liberty
- diversity
- hate
- equity
- sex
- gender
- love
- “expertise”
- mental capacity

and what is an unwanted protoplasm vs. what is a baby.

Biden, thus, finds himself to be at the wrong end of “an Afghanistan.”

I really didn’t think that walking corpse would make it through his first year in office: the marvels of modern medicine, I guess.

But it’s all according to plan: it’s gotten bad enough now that GropeyJoe will have to step down from the campaign in a couple months, but will stay in office in order to keep the Kamel out of the campaign, thus clearing the way for Grewsome or Big Mike to run in November. And if Grewsome is nominated, they’ll force Gropey out so that the Kamel can be the first female/black female president, if only for a couple months. If Big Mike is nominated, they’ll use formaldehyde and rags to keep Gropey in the Oval Office so that “honor” can go to him.

Either way, it’ll clear the way for all kinds of shenanigans by Obambi’s handlers (who’ve been running things, anyway), bc whoever is in office, the Kamel or GropeyJoe, will be a lame duck, and they can do anything without political consequence.

And you thought things were bad now...
