You can actually go on Google Earth and “drive” around all of Moscow, even the suburbs.
There are “working class” neighborhoods - but you will not see a single piece of trash on the streets, nor any graffiti.
There’s a lot of folks playing fast and loose with the truth these days. Folks that seemingly trust all the wrong people. Putin is no more trustworthy than Zelensky is. And those here touting how “safe” it is to wander around in Moscow as an American citizen are hilarious.
Rand Paul says we let in 800,000 illegals last month. Democrats and liberals are going to make our nation a 3rd world sewer if they keep it up. A person would be safer in Moscow.

But also, they have different rules and “maybe” (my assumption) push the riffraff out of the city.
In the US even the homeless have rights and that is good even if unsightly.
It can also be that they in part institutionalize folks. Many in the street are psych cases but they can’t be institutionalized against their will except if they pose an imminent threat to others or themselves over here.
From what I heard, and some day I would like to visit, St Petersburg is beautiful. But now might not be a good time to check the place out.
IMHO- this entire Ukraine war was stupid. A silly foreseeable, avoidable, war with a predictable outcome that did not benefit Ukraine, the US, or Europe in the macro.
How did this war make me wealthier, safer, or more free?
What real national security threat (not some hypothetical nonsense) was addressed?
Our leaders have to resort to fluff arguments. Did you read McConnell’s reasoning for why he supports the war? It was like reading a statement from a beauty pageant and some bimbo talking about world peace and hunger. They use Cold War boogieman arguments that aren’t even remotely feasible. They pretend as if we have some moral high ground when they spew off their crap about democracy, sovereignty and human rights all while China has most favored trade status and is our number one trade partner, we prop up the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Jordan, arm radical islamist groups and guard poppy fields for our friends in Afghanistan... What a joke!
But it’s a joke that has cost thousands their lives.

Lol... I can guarantee you... that driving around using Google Earth would be the ONLY way I’d be cruising through Moscow these days.

Absolutely no one is going to tell you where you can or can’t go in Moscow (unless it’s a military facility or the like). This goes for anywhere in Russia. Tucker could have rented a car, driven down the M4 to Rostov na Donu and then driven straight into Crimea without anyone bothering him or even paying attention (there might be a security check on the bridge now, but that would be a car inspection only). I’m not sure how you imagine Russia but moving around is almost exactly the same as the USA. No one cares what you are doing, even as a foreigner.

Sigh....no. I wouldn’t trust the O’Biden creeps if they informed me that the sky was blue. By all means.... believe what you want to believe. It’s not my job to convince you otherwise...and frankly, I just can’t force myself to care. But I wouldn’t put MY safety or that of my family in the hands of some “vloggers’” say-so based on their posted videos.
And I’m curious. What makes you so shock sure that those vloggers aren’t “propagandists for Russia”? You seem to be laboring under the delusion that Russia is America’s friend and ally. I mean... what the literal hell???
My daughter and her husband spent 4 months in Moscow teaching English. Horrible conditions. The nice areas are very nice, and very expensive. Outside of that, not so good.
