My experience with Amazon has been generally excellent; but I can vouch for this man’s difficulty in contacting them - it’s been a hassle the few times I’ve had a problem.

My wife and I are going through this right now. It's weird. Friday was our latest "shipment", containing a bunch of pastry bags, a melting pot/gadget of some kind, and a set of steak knives... it's like we won a consolation prize on an old game show.

I think it's what they call "brushing" myself. But who knows? We never pay for the stuff, we're never charged for the stuff, and most of the time it ends up being given to charity anyway.

I once inspected a house for sale that was owned by a state politician who had to make a midnight move to get out from under the shadow of sexual harassment charges. Mid-inspection I’m greeted by FedEx with a delivery of alcoholic beverages that easily exceeded $2K. Called the listing agent about it, who told me to make it disappear, which I gladly did. The buyer I inspected for told me that he received similar pe-Thanksgiving deliveries reliably for the next 7 years until he tranferred out of the area.

The amount of scammers out there today is absolutely insane. A few months ago my dad was using some cash app that to me looked suspicious and I warned him, there is no reason to use that freakin’ thing and sure enough, they cleaned out his checking account in one transaction, almost $4,000

I have been ordering prep stuff for a while now. Most of this load of stuff came via by Fedex and UPS but of late most is delivered by my now overworked mailman since Prime shipping went almost exclusively to USPS.

I live in the middle of nowhere in a large old farmhouse and I have stacked empty bedrooms full of boxes and they have spilled over to most other spaces as well... it looks pretty busy here...lol

This is a sign of the times, I'm sure other freepers can relate..

I got an extra 300w portable solar panel setup once I did not order, was not charged and they said to just keep it when I asked... while another time one cheap 58.99 100w panel was broken and they made me ship it back...odd
