The only thing Russia has ever wanted with us is to turn us into a communist country.
And, they have largely succeeded.
Putin is a dictator. And a supporter of dictatorships in North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, Venezuela, etc., as well as the anti pipeline protesters and anarchists here, and of course, the Clintons.
As nasty as the Democrats and European socialists are, he manages to be even worse.
He is also an incredibly gifted propagandist, manipulating both left and rightwingers in the US with ease.

The Soviets certainly did, not so sure with Russia. As it is (or was), the Soviets got A LOT OF HELP with a certain group of people in the West who seem to love Communism, and with the ‘Greatest Generation’ who institutionalized their kids in the Communist-run public schools and then Communist-run universities.
