EXCLUSIVE: In a move that ought to make fans of The Beatles twist and shout, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Oscar-winning filmmaker Sam Mendes and his Neal Street Productions have set plans to make four separate theatrical films — one on each of the members of music’s most famous and enduring band.
Mendes will direct all four of the films, and this marks the first time Apple Corps Ltd. and The Beatles – Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and the families of John Lennon and George Harrison – have granted full life story and music rights for a scripted film.
Mendes conceived this grand vision. He’ll tell interconnected stories, one from each band member’s point of view. The dating cadence of the films will be revealed closer to the films’ release. I’m told they are locking down writers quickly.

I wonder if he will put in what happened with Chuck Barry.
I have seen a lot of people think that Lennon got mad when they cut the mic while his wife was screeching but I can’t tell.
most of the clips usually just show Chuck reacting to her first round of screeching..
here is a longer clip.

I cant see where John reacts when he finds out her mic was cut
Ringo’s challenging youth as a sickly kid... and ultimate triumph could make for a feel-good “Rudy” sort of movie. A lot of folks are unaware of Ringo spending a good chunk of his childhood as an in-patient in children’s hospitals. Neighborhood schoolmates nicknamed him “Lazarus” for coming back from the dead so many times.
Rumor is, they are casting Lizzo as Ringo.
What about Pete Best? His story is quite something also, being fired from the Beatles and ultimately recovering from that, that was quite a struggle.
I must admit I didn’t know that about Ringo. Burst appendix and then tuberculosis.
As time has passed we have discovered that the Beatles are NOT bigger than Jesus.
“ A lot of folks are unaware of Ringo spending a good chunk of his childhood as an in-patient in children’s hospitals. Neighborhood schoolmates nicknamed him “Lazarus” for coming back from the dead so many times.”
Even after joining the Beatles he had severe health problems. He missed 8 shows of the ‘64 tour and was replaced by Jimmie Nicol.
Four new movies about The Beatles, and for theaters, not streaming? Is there really much more to be said that has not already been said over the past 50 years?
Sort of like the two recent movies about Elvis Presley. Maybe the well has not yet run dry.
Of course, we Boomers love to recall and review our influences of the past, perhaps moreso than any other generation.
A bit late on this project, yes no maybe perhaps??
here is another one.
Rolling stones Circus concert. It went on until the wee hours and people were high.
Some legendary people were on stage playing with John Lennon and there is Yoko screaming away while Clapton and others are just trying to do their job. The violinist actually scoots back a few times from her

At this very moment ‘help’. Is playing on classic perlen Germany livestream
Yoko thinking she is hot stuff in 2010 screeching again.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdZ9weP5i68
She must have been great in bed because that chick is talentless. I can’t find one where she screamed inside a plastic bag
Yoko will be portrayed as having the most beautiful voice.
I wonder if it will get the Disney / Netflix treatment.
They will make a couple of them transvestites and the other two will be made into black queers.
John lennon will not be shot, he will be attacked by gay bodybuilders, beaten with a subway sammich and then die from fentanyl overdose.
On and on, blah blah...
.
The real payoff will be on cable and streaming, with Boomers tormenting their grandkids by making them watch every minute with them.
I think I know, I mean, er, yes, but it’s all wrong
That is, I think I disagree
Is this movie going to be AI?
Who is the violinist?
