Despite denials desantis is not still campaigning, desanctus has another, what his team calls "media availability event".

With no information.

This must be how desanctus' successful presidential campaign team, now hired to advise him in governing florida while still campaigning, must be trying to perk the media to continue to give desanctimonious media face time.

Will this guy ever stop seeking the spotlight and just concentrate on governing Florida?

This is governing Florida. He’s the best to ever do it. Never stopped. The 2023 legislative session was as productive as I’ve ever seen in conservative policy advancement and no governor did more with executive power in that time frame from immigration to child protection to ridding us of corrupt progressive prosecutors.

Sarcasm?

Nikki has little support.

If DeSantis really wanted to do something for the country and not himself, he would be holding events to help Trump for the general election.

Funny.... desantis ignored Florida for almost a year, while he was doing his 99 caucus Iowa tour during his active presidential campaign...

Where were his daily Florida media availability events, then?

For that matter, where was his governing, then.

Oh, that’s right... desantis thought he could ignore Florida, because he would be president.

Good objective analysis.

You might add that Florida's Republican dominated legislature contains a lot of RINOs that Governor DeSantis has kept in line. Otherwise they would be “reaching across the aisle” trying to make nice with Charlie Crist - like they used to do.

His successes in Florida are why many people aspirationally refer to DeSantis as America's Governor.

Well of course - governors never do things like this.

Yup!!! He’s the best Governor we’ve ever had. I’m sick of the paid op hit squad on FR trashing him.

Quit lying. You don’t live here. I do, and we love him as Governor.

Who’s paying you to post such lies?

Yep, real governors don’t have to have daily press conference with no topic, to try to attract media attention.

Especially since desanctus demonstrated he never held media availability events daily related to Florida, while he was not “I’m not a candidate”

he is hoping he will be second choice if the feds somehow keep Trump from being the candidate. This will keep Trump from getting enough delegates early.

I wonder who is funding him... probably some of Haley’s backer that pulled out last week and and after MI.

I’ve wondered if there are paid influencers, who stir the pot on Free Republic.

Perhaps there are. If there are, they would never admit it, would they?

I predict it will be to announce something that will advance the conservative agenda in Florida. That’s what good governors do. So far, he has been a fabulous governor.
