I agree with other posters, the Texas gov needs to stay in Texas as much as DeSantis needs to stay in FL - for the purpose of managing their own states.
A better pick would be one from a red state that will likely stay red no matter what, which would be SD’s gov Noem.

While I agree with the choice of Gov. Abbott for VP, although I would hate to lose him as Gov, it would not surprise me to see the appearance of someone that has not been mentioned (as far as I know), and that is the attractive lady lawyer that seems to frequently appear alongside President Trump- She has an unusual name like Ali Babba or something like that. I believe that she has been named as Trump’s “Personal Advisor” or Lawyer.
