The Temporary Pier and the Question of Why

For a long time, Israel forbade ships entering the Gaza Strip because it was so easy to ship arms to Hamas. So why is this pier to Gaza happening now?

Since Oct. 7, 2023, external humanitarian aid has primarily had to enter the Gaza Strip via the land crossing at Rafah, which is run by Egypt.

Gen. Abdel Fatteh El-Sisi, the ruler of Egypt for the past decade, is as committed as Israel to the goal of keeping arms out of the hands of terrorists, so Israel trusts his government in Egypt to vet these shipments and ensure that armaments aren’t smuggled in among the convoys of food and beverages that cross every day.

Neither Israel nor Egypt have put a limit on the number of trucks that can enter at Rafah, and the Gaza Strip is not a particularly big place – it’s only about twice the size of Washington D.C., in fact. One entrance with unlimited trucks is quite sufficient to bring in aid for such a small area.

But ever since Hamas’s horrific attacks on Israel on October 7 that started this long-needed police action, the global anti-Israel lobby has declared that they need another way to bring in humanitarian aid – one outside Egypt. They need a seaport, they tell us, to bring in aid directly from the Mediterranean.

Why?

The answer is obvious. The terrorists of Hamas and their fellow travelers have allies in Cyprus, Turkey, Greece, Iran, and the United Nations. Anyone else who might ship cargo to Gaza would – intentionally – have weaker security checkpoints than Egypt has.

There’s a reason, after all, why Israel hasn’t been allowing relief vessels to serve Gaza, and it dates back to long before October 7. Israel has frequently caught weapons caches being smuggled into Gaza

I am old enough to remember when Obama made an ally of ISIS and ISIS KORANIMALS were all riving new Toyota trucks.

I was (am) involved in building a pipeline in the area.

Cyprus could not be filled with more dishonest people, for fear of “tipping over the island” to quote a retarded congressman.

Just absolute garbage people from top to bottom.

The Israelis will be monitoring the shipments being loaded in Cyprus, the Israelis will be monitoring the offloading of the shipments in Gaza. The U.S. will have no boots on the ground. The UN relief agencies appear to be barred from participation. Assuming food deliveries actually make it to the pier, what is the process to take a bag of flour from the pier and to put it in the hands of a starving Palestinian civilian. Who is supposed to distribute the food and how will it be done? Has that link of the supply chain been discussed?

Hamas will control everything and use food rationing to keep their hold on power. A bad result, but the muslim voters in Dearborn will be happy and will vote for Brandon.

There was an article on pita bakeries run with the help of the IDF yesterday.

Pitas might be sold above cost to the first comers and then below cost to those who have been standing around long enough. Get a number - $1 numbers 1 through 100...50 cents numbers 1 through 100...50 cents numbers 900-999...40 cents...

If the IDF supplies the flour and fuel, the cost would be of processing and handling.

How do people not see that this is going to be used to evacuate Gazans to the U.S.? The whole territory will be under Israeli control within in 2 years.

All of the idiots clamoring for the Zionists to destroy Gaza are going to be standing there with their mouth hanging open and dumbfounded when those 75 IQ monsters get shipped here and given EBT cards.

Your government hates you. It is not controlled by you or your neighbors. It is controlled by foreign globalists.

The all new trucks indicate government money.

Which government?

“How do people not see that this is going to be used to evacuate Gazans to the U.S.?”

That would be utter madness. Gazans have been taught to hate from an early age. Jews would be living in fear at the levels of 1930s Germany.

One shouldn’t put ‘endangered’ wolves [hate-filled Gazans] in the same enclosure [USA] as sheep [Jews].

Many Jews (and my mother’s parents) came here for asylum. The asylum previously granted should be respected. “Newcomers” in need of (or claiming to want) asylum should be directed to seek it in a country where they will not threaten others.

Any asylum applicant that doesn’t not formally acknowledge the borders of Israel as recognized by the US government should not be admitted or allowed to remain.

Any asylum applicant that doesn’t not acknowledge the rights of women to fully participate in society and to dress in typical western clothing should not be admitted or allowed to remain.

Any asylum applicant that doesn’t not acknowledge the rights of Christian, Jews and atheists should not be admitted or allowed to remain.

Any asylum applicant that doesn’t not acknowledge the rights of LGB people should not be admitted or allowed to remain.

The Israelis will simply turn their backs as tons of food are driven away on Hamas trucks? Seriously, what’s the U.S./Israeli plan, whether it happens or not? You are absolutely right about why this stunt is being attempted. Biden and DC don’t care a fig about starving children. This is just rank politics out of DC, as usual.

Are you saying the Israelis will be tasked with distribution? Is there actually a thought out process to get the food from pier to Palestinian hands?
