Today we use “eclipse glasses”. Don’t pull them off and look at the sun like Marge Simpson did and end up at the hospital.

I'm going up to a part of northern Vermont tomorrow where totality will happen.And they're predicting perfect weather!

Next week I have an appointment with my retina specialist. I'm gonna ask her if she's seen any patients with retina damage due to the eclipse.

Florida is far from the path of totality this time. You won’t miss a thing unless you’re an astronomy geek and if you were you would have traveled the centreline somewhere.

Maybe I’m missing something, but I’ve never had the urge to stare directly at the sun, for the same reason I never had the urge to hit myself with a hammer.
