He was basically begging for money from the government (subsidies) for years and one of the ones pushing the climate change crap to peddle off his EVs.
Musk is s businessman who realizes there is a market for a platform which sorta champions free speech (X still censors and works with law enforcement and intel, they just don’t censor as much as they once did).
Musk also grooms his public image.
Nice to have him in our corner. But I’d be very careful to trust him as some ally of free speech and democracy, etc.
Shellenberger has become a hero of mine. Not only for his Twitter file stuff but other stuff. His investigation of the WPATH. This will help to save thousands and thousands of young lives from the madness of transgenderism. His work on homelessness and global warming is spot on. Must is my hero sense he sent his first rocket into space. Musk seems to become more Libertarian every day.

This is absolute nonsense. We, the right, could put an end to leftist totalitarianism right now by avoiding the woke companies and media that are actively working against us. Of course, the longer we wait the harder that will get, but if we can’t do this then neither Musk nor Trump will be able to save us.
Still ‘chewing the cud’ regarding Musk. I will say he is fascinating. I appreciate what he did with twitter. Dorsey appeared to me to be a young product of the state who had no moral courage.

May that be government subsidies, massive government contracts, government protectionism... Musk, Gates, Buffet, Soros, Bezos, Zuckerberg, Bourla... All of them have one hand in a government cookie jar.
Government (in some form) has become the primary way billionaires get crowned in America.
