Of course, they would...

Can't have white people be honored, when white people have been oppressing and disinfranchising blacks throughout history and denying blacks their equity or superiority....

according to crt...

Wouldn’t it make a hell of a lot more sense just to save the money and not rebuild it? They didn’t put up new Robert E. Lee statues and “rename” them? Cancel Culture Club fags need to be fair here.

How about these black and whatever else groups and leaders pay for the bridge, then they can name it what they want.

I imagine they’ll name it after the black guy who wrote the MFL’s Super Sunday “Black” National Anthem.

Enough of this racism crap.

Everyone gets discriminated against because human beings don't trust people who are different than them. Animals are the same way. It's bake into the cake--human nature.

If you want racism to end, show people that you can be trusted.

“ are calling for the collapsed Baltimore bridge to be renamed when it’s rebuilt, citing accusations of racism ”

As expected.
As Patton said about Rommel, “I read your book” .

These people only have a very short book with one chapter, so they are 100% predictable.
Anything named after a white male needs to be erased and renamed after someone with darker skin.

Name it the George Floyd Bridge. Make it a draw bridge. The draw bridge part should resemble a police officer forcing a black man to the ground when going down.

Is that PC/CRT enough?

They heard all the suppositions on social media and decided, “why not?”

What lyrics in our National Anthem are demeaning to blacks?

Sure. And while we’re at it, we’ll rename the barge as “The Thug Boat”.

Don’t bother rebuilding it. Leaving it a disaster area makes for a better monument to the civil rights movement.

If they want to pay for the bridge they can name it whatever they want, but if any taxpayer dollars are used it remains Francis Scott Key Bridge.

C'mon. It's not like the replacement bridge will ever be built.

Money will be spent on it, yes. There will be no new bridge.

Mitchel’s early life was admirable. He got a purple heart in Italy. He got advanced degrees and sued to enter the University of Maryland graduate program.

But in his congressional career he didn’t do much. His only accomplishments seem to center around affirmative action. But then again maybe using his name is a good fit for Baltimore.
