It was clever of the “mobster” to leave O.J.’s blood and the incriminating bloody gloves and almost unique shoe prints!
At that time, there were many rumors about who did the killing. One of the suspects was one of OJs sons. This son had a reputation for violent, bizarre behavior. The assumption was that OJ had decided to steer suspicion away from the young man and bear the brunt of the murders himself. OJs daughter probably knows the true story. She and her brother have learned to keep a low profile and stay out of the news. Last I saw of her in photos, she had piled on a tremendous amount of weight.

If I were to hire a hitman to off my ex, I would not want to be anywhere near the crime scene to aid in my deniability. (Lucky for both of us, I am a Christian and also too poor to hire the mob to do anything.) This story makes no sense.

Italian gangsters are not fictional honor-bound archetypes found in the Godfather movies - they are vicious sociopaths recounted in Nicholas Pileggi’s Wiseguy, on the life and times of Henry Hill. OJ was no dummy - he would have known that they have have squeezed him dry if he hired them. That’s apart from the absurdity of being at the scene of the crime. The whole point of hiring someone is to lay off blame.
This “story” might be interesting IF there was not so much DNA blood evidence in OJ’s vehicle. Did the mobster borrow OJ’s car and leave the blood in his car? Then plant the bloody glove outside his house. Then flee the scene driving OJ’s vehicle(there was a witness to this that sold her story).
O.J. Did it.
Lastly, professional killers would not practically cut her head off with a knife. She would have died from two gunshots to the head. Same with Goldman. From a gun with a suppressor.

The story I read indicated that OJ was there; he just didn’t wield the knife.
